For my stop, I'm featuring a few books I've come across in 2015, which I'm glad I decided to pick up either because they made me laugh, swoon or sigh with high emotions.
My first pick is After You by Jojo Moyes. I absolutely adored the first book Me Before You, and I was delighted to get a finished copy of After You before its release. I loved Louisa Clark in this final installment.
My second choice is a toss up between Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and The White Queen by Philippa Gregory. These are a tie because I picked them up for the same reason, which was to watch the TV mini-series that turned out to be amazing.
My final choice will be the Cocktail series by Alice Clayton. I'm so glad I've jumped back into this series because I've gotten some pretty good laughs that are always a fun treat.
There are many other books that I'm grateful I've picked up this year, so be sure to check back in late December when we do a recap of our 2015 favorites.
Oh my goodness, I'm grateful for way too many books. Maybe the Ink series by Bella Roccaforte? It was so different from anything I'd read and what I *thought* I liked, and then it ended up completely changing my reading tastes (or maybe just discovering them?), and the series (so far) was a really great escape for me when I needed it. I've had Wallbanger on my TBR forever though, and I keep hearing such great things about it!

ReplyDeleteI will always be grateful I read Shade by Jamie Begley in her The Last Riders series. I had thought that it was a reprint Shade's Fall and missed it when it came out. This year when Lucky's Choice was released I wanted to reread the series and her other series that tie in, all in order. I found out on her website's front page that I had missed a book. It was hard to wait to read it until I was finished rereading, but so worth it. Seeing Shade's side of things from each previous book was awesome. Then the ending, OMG!!!!! I don't think a book has ever made me cry so much. It was awesome.
