Sunday Post #241

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week. I'm also linking up to The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance @Readerbuzz.

I didn't post last week because we were on our way back from Central California/Sequoias after a trip with our kids and grandkids. Plus, I was on overload with the arcs I committed to posting the last two weeks. I was totally stressed to get it all done on top of working and our trip. I won't be doing that again anytime soon!

We had a ton of rain again, but the last couple of days we've had some sunshine and temps in the 60s! My primrose are blooming and everything is green. We have snow in the forecast for next weekend. We'll see.

  1. Your primroses are looking lovely! We've also been having loads of rain and very gloomy weather. Sorry to hear about the collision with arcs needing to be posted and your family holiday - it's always miserable when that happens. I hope the coming week is more relaxing:)).

  2. Goodness, yes, that's a lot of reading and reviewing for the last two weeks. I would not have been able to do it.

    Your flowers are stunning.

  3. Your primroses are gorgeous. And I love that photo of Peanut! :D I just got my copy of The Boy Who Cried Bear yesterday from the library and I'm happily halfway through it already. I love Eric and Casey and their new town of Haven's Rock.

  4. Well you may have had a lot but there were some amazing reads! March is a lot too. I'm reading the next WTZ this week. Can't wait. I love primroses. I have one blooming and I hope the other one comes up; it was really small plant.

  5. Peanut is ridiculously photogenic. Great picture! Love the flowers, too. Hopefully your forecast changes. The snow that was predicted for us later in the week is now rain. Whew!

  17. Sounds like a fun trip. Your flowers are so lovely. I do not garden... at all. I admire pretty flowers and landscaping but I know nothing about it. (And unfortunately have no interest in learning. lol) I'm currently try to sweet talk my sister into tackling to two plant beds in the front and doing something with them. I told her I'd pay her cash or pay her with Starbucks. Haha!
