The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week. I'm also linking up to The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance @Readerbuzz.
I hope everyone is warm and safe with all the storms. Seems like reading the news each day brings a fresh new horror. I like Kimberly's @Caffeinated reviewer's weekly reminder to spread kindness where you can!
I had a nice week. My husband was off this past Monday so we went hiking on a trail about 15 minutes away and then went to lunch. The weather was gorgeous!

I am loving The Dungeon Crawler Carl series! I would've blown through all the books published already but I've had to pause for read a-long and review books! Make it Out Alive was so good! I listened to it in one day!

How was your week?

What a great hike - I love that!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love getting outside!
DeleteI'm looking forward to nicer weather and being able to get out and walk! I started the Dungeon Crawler Carl series on audiobook, but had to stop for other audios at the time. Hope to get back to it soon. Hope you have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteHope you get to get back to it, Lisa! You too!
DeleteI also loved Make It Out Alive! What great photos. Your weather looks better than the freezing rain we have. We're just staying in for a bit.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
The weather has been nice. It cooled down a bit this week. Highs in the 50s lows in the 20s. Still better than freezing rain!
DeleteIt's nice to get out in nature
ReplyDeleteIt is! It's such a destressor.
DeleteSherlock Holmes makes for a fun puzzle.
ReplyDeleteI like your hike photo!
I don't know what to do with my anger and frustration with the country. I keep hoping that someone will act. I am so ashamed of what is going on. I feel like all I can do is keep supporting the good I see in the world.
It was a fun puzzle. It is very disturbing. I keep thinking if everyone would just apply the Golden Rule, treat others how you'd like to be treated, it would end all this strife. Yes, we can only control our own actions and hopefully a good example will motivate others to do good too.
DeleteDisturbingly the horrors from this regime keep coming. Will Congress ever act?? Looks like a pretty hike. I didn't realize Jane Harper has a new book out ... vet it for us!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good question, Susan. It was a beautiful hike! Such a nice day too. I'm looking forward to the new Jane Harper!
DeleteI’m glad you are enjoying good weather. I’m determined to start the Dungeon Crawler Carl series sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful reading week
Neat that you got a hike in on your hubby's day off. I look forward to some cleared days that allow me to get out and walk again. Cool Sherlock Holmes puzzle. Wow, got in lots of reading last week.
ReplyDeleteAgree that kindness is always a good idea.
Have a good week, Rachel!
Sounds like a good day for a hike.
ReplyDeleteWe are covered in snow.. haven't left the house since Saturday afternoon. Everywhere I look people are finishing their puzzles and I haven't touch my half done one since fall!
ReplyDeleteI just got a copy of The Girl Before, too!
ReplyDeleteWinter finally arrived her in South Texas this week, and boy has it been cold and icy! My workout the week prior was chopping and splitting wood, so we've been enjoying our fireplace this week!
I am a bit behind on the Jane Harper books! I must catch up!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
So beautiful. Looking out my window, I see nothing but snow. We ended up with 18-24" of snow. Good thing I didn't have any place to go and my neighbor plowed most of my driveway.
