The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week. I'm also linking up to The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance @Readerbuzz.
Happy Sunday!
It's been unseasonably warm, in the 80s and we've done a lot of cleaning up and planting. We took the covers off our patio furniture and have sat outside in the evenings enjoying the weather.

We went on another hike along the Yuba River and brought my sister and BIL. Went to lunch after and then took a nap.
South Yuba River hike
All went well with my husband's procedure, which was a relief. We have a lot going on this coming week. I have an appointment for my mammogram, work and travel.

ReplyDeleteThanks! You too!
DeleteI will cross my fingers for your mammogram! I do one every once in a chile too but I hate doing it!
ReplyDeleteI'm always nervous, so that you for that!
DeleteGlad things went well for your husband. Our temps were crazy too. Freezing to needing to turn on the air conditioner and now back down again.
ReplyDeleteThank you! We haven't had to turn on the A/C yet, thank goodness!
DeleteYou have a busy week! I hope it all goes smoothly. Glad to hear your husband's went well. You get the prettiest puzzles. I wish I had more camellias.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I hope so, too! I'll write about it next Sunday. I am so relieved his procedure went well. My camellias took a while to do well. This is the first year I had quite a few blooms.
DeleteGlad to hear your husband's procedure went well. That must be a relief. Good luck with all you have to do this week.
ReplyDeleteIt was a big relief! Thank you! Hope you have a great week!
DeleteYea! Glad the procedure went well!
ReplyDeleteMy FIL loves puzzles, so I had one made from photos and sent it to him for his birthday. He did the entire puzzle (500 pieces) in one day because he was so excited. Next time I'll need to find a harder photo (like at the beach so there are lots of blues) and make it bigger.
Me too! That's such a cool idea!
DeleteThat shot of the Yuba River is stunning. I've done the same puzzle, the one o f London. It was fun.

It was fun! I liked that it was so colorful. A perfect spring puzzle!
DeleteIt's going to be very warm here next week. We are headed to an antique show in Central Texas with temps in the 90s.
ReplyDeleteI hope your week goes well!
You have the prettiest puzzles. Yesterday was nice but today is cold and rainy again.
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful front yard view!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved your hiking photos! The Yuba River looks like such a gorgeous place to explore. It’s so nice that you were able to enjoy some time in your backyard this week—I managed to do the same and it was so refreshing.
ReplyDeleteGlad your husband's procedure went well! I meant to do my mammogram with the mobile one they had at my school last Wednesday but just never got around to scheduling it. Those puzzles are both so cool! I love the whole BIL thing, I need to start saying SIL instead of typing it all out. Hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteWow, 80s already! Gorgeous spring temps and glad you could get out in the nice weather. Yay for your husband's procedure going well. Hopefully, you'll make it through this busy week, Rachel!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Half City too.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week
We have had "warmer" than usual too, but planting outside will still have to wait 2 months
ReplyDeletePretty outdoor pics! And of course the alluring puzzles: Disco Life, lol. I'm envious that you are planting there in March and everything looks so green and in bloom. We have snow forecasted for tomorrow ... is this winter going to wind down? I'm glad your husband's procedure went well and hope all is fine ahead. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteWe've had some really nice spring days here, too. Lots of nice evenings by the firepit. I went to start cleaning out some pots on Monday. I was removing a dead rosemary bush when I saw something moving...baby birds in a nest! The bush will have to stay for now haha
ReplyDeleteI know this is over a week old, but I just read it. I'm glad your hubbies procedure went well, there is always a bit of anxiety. Your yard looks lovely. We had temperatures in the 70s this week, but it if going back down to the 50s and 60s. Happy April.
