The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week. I'm also linking up to The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance @Readerbuzz.
Happy Sunday!
Nothing exciting to report here. I was able to make it to the read-along chat (hosted by Anne @Books of My Heart) for The Guild Codex series by Annette Marie last Sunday and that was fun. The weather warmed up to the mid 80s low up so we had to get our walks in early.
We went to a library sale and I donated a bunch of books and bought three books for my shelf, of course. I donated more than I brought home, so that was progress. We went to lunch after, hit the grocery store and then came home. I worked on a puzzle while listening to my audiobook.
I'll be working tomorrow (Sunday).

I love the kitty puzzle. So cute! Summer is beating the door for sure. I hate it. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's definitely warming up here! Thanks! I hope you do, too!
DeleteWe are into puzzles this summer and I love both your puzzles. I'm looking them up!
ReplyDeleteYay for a fellow puzzle lover! Galison and Werkshoppe have wonderful puzzles!
DeleteI should totally go to a library sale and unhaul Rachel!
ReplyDeleteYou should! You could do a Little Free Library crawl and unload that way, too!
DeleteFlowers and puzzles are all so cheerful and cozy. We have a puzzle which has been on our dining table for 3 or 4 years we haven't finished. So glad to have you on the chat!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I should come over and finish that puzzle, lol! You need a different, easier, more fun puzzle work on, for sure. I was happy to attend! I'll be in Montana for the next one so I'm not sure I'll be able to sign on. I hope I can, though.
DeleteI just finished Romantic Hero, I hope your week ahead enjoy it as I did.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your week
I hope you enjoyed it! My pleasure!
DeleteGlad you had a quiet week and a chance to participate in the Readalong. Ha, that's about my speed of getting rid of books and gaining them. You came back with less than you left with so that's a win. :) Fun puzzles and yay for some good books read. The RaeAnne Thayne looked cozy.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, Rachel!
Yes, two steps ahead, one back with my bookshelves, lol! The Rainy Day Bookshop was everything I expect from Thayne. A moving story, a bit of romance and low drama! Loved it!
DeleteI'll be reading Romantic Hero soon, and I think I might have an e-galley of Chase Me if You Can? I love the idea of donating books to the library book sale. That would be great for me. I mean it's not like Half Price Books gives me any money for them. I hated missing the chat this time, and I may have to miss June's as well! We will see! Have a good week!

We missed you! I hope to make the June chat, too, but not sure since I'll be in Montana at the time. Things are always crazy when I'm there, lol!
DeleteLove seeing your wrap of the week. Donating books is such a good feeling. I love doing that with my library as well. I really am looking forward to the RaeAnne Thayne book, that series has been packed with warm fuzzies.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Renee! I'm happy you're back to blogging! I hope you enjoy The Rainy Day Bookshop, too!
DeleteThe Rainy Day Bookshelf looks so cute! Lovely to hear about your library visit. I have to go soon!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
It was a wonderful read. I love going to the library sale when I can make it. You too!
DeleteOh very cute flowers
ReplyDeleteThank you! One thing I do enjoy about summer is the abundance of flowers for cutting and brining in!
DeleteI've got a busy week ahead! Working for the first part, then traveling to a family reunion to float the river. Saturday we have a wedding. Thankfully, I've planned a vacation at the lake house the following week, just to rest a bit haha.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds busy and wonderful, Ethan! What river are you floating down?
DeleteFun puzzles!
ReplyDeleteThey were fun! The lemon one especially.
DeleteIt's always a win when you donate more books than you buy. :) I hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteVery true! Thanks, I hope you have a great week, too!
DeleteLOL, well of course you brought home 3 books. Quiet weeks are good.
ReplyDeleteYou can't go to a library sale without buying some books! :)
DeleteIt's nice that you were able to find a few books to bring home.
ReplyDeleteIt was!
DeleteI miss having library sales. They were always so much fun and introduced me to new authors.
ReplyDeleteKristin @ Book Sniffers Anonymous
They are nice to go to and I feel good by donating and buying.
DeleteI love seeing the flowers from your garden. And I am looking forward to hearing what you think about Romantic Hero.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! I missed our library book sale last weekend. It's probably okay since I have so many on my shelves now!
ReplyDeletePretty flowers!!! I want some
