The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.
I'm up in Sonoma for a long weekend and it's been lovely, but I've been away from home for so much lately! It's been rainy which I don't mind, and everything is beautiful and green. I'll be home for three days and then back at my daughter's house in Northern California on Thursday night.

There's no cover but I also read a short story by Nalini Singh: Ain't No Party Like a Bear Party and I LOVED it! Silver Silence is my favorite Nalini Singh story ever and so I was thrilled to read more of Silver and Valentin and Bears!! "Because...bears." The short story is published in her December 2018 Newsletter if you're a fan it's not to be missed!
I've had The Deal in my TBR forever, but decided to listen/read it after seeing it on Anne's @Books of My Heart Sunday Post last week. It was sooo good, I could kick myself for waiting so long! Untouchable was a nice ending to the series, but it didn't have the same zing as the previous book. Still, a fun read.

Since I loved The Deal I had to get the next book in the series, The Mistake. I love Maisey Yates and Katie Ruggle so of course I gobbled up their newest. I've never read Sparrow Beckett and it's been a while since I read anything with BDSM, but the book was offered to me and the description sounded fun so I decided to give her a shot.
Watched:
Nothing! I've barely had any time to read let alone watch any TV, but I really want to get to The Birdbox soon!

ReplyDeleteI should've picked it up sooner. Thank you, Grace!
DeleteBeautiful pic from Sonoma! I loved The Deal when I read it several years ago but for some strange reason I never continued the series. No idea why but I need to change that soon.
ReplyDeleteSo many books and only so much time is usually the reason I don't finish a series.
DeleteEnjoy your weekend, and have safe travels!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jennifer!
DeleteLook at that pretty, not-snowy picture. We got tons of snow last week.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I've seen a lot of the US is bombarded with snow right now so I really appreciate our weather. The rain was actually beautiful.
DeleteI used to go visit my friend when she lived over near Sonoma. It does get so pretty in the rainy months and early summer. Hopefully your back and forth will be over soon.
