Sunday Post #43

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.

I had a busy week at work. Thankfully, I got off work early on Thursday and my husband and I were able to drive up north early without major holiday traffic congestion.  I took a picture of my read (with glass of wine) out on the patio with a view. I have to say, though, it's flipping hot here in Northern California!  Not as bad as home down south, but still.  Give it up Summer! I am so ready to move on!

Love Catherine Bybee's series so excited for the newest (the last book in the series). I can't say no to Maisey Yates, so a yes to Cowboy Christmas Redemption was a no-brainer. I can't tell you how excited I am to start The Wallflower Wager! Love Tessa Dare's historical romances! One Good Deed is a looonngg book, but I just got my library lend audio book version and I hope it's good.

Watched:

Nothing. I'd like to watch The River Wild this weekend and see if I like as much as the first time I watched it years ago.

How was your week?

  5. I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. It looks like it's off to a great start. I will be keeping an eye out for your Bybee review. Sasha was such an interesting character, and I am curious about her HEA.

  7. We had a nice mild week for the last of August, but I'm pretty sure summer will strike back a few times before the crisp fall weather settles in for good. Relaxing picture view.
Seeing that Claudia Connor reminds me that I still need to read that latest.

Have a good Labor Day and rest of the week, Rachel.

I'm so ready for autumn now... I really hope I've seen the back of the super hot temps until next year!

  10. Summer's just not ready to leave yet, is it? I don't mind too much, though. Where I live, it will be cold soon enough.

  12. I enjoy Sandra Brown and I also want to read that O'Connor book. I wish I could just get temps about 5 degrees cooler. It's come down to upper 80s instead of 90s so I can't complain too much. Enjoy your holiday and have a good week.

  17. I'm about done with the really hot weather. It hasn't been terrible recently, but I feel like it'll get hot again before Fall really comes!
