The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week. I'm also linking up to The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance @Readerbuzz.
It's been a busy week with the usual. The weather has been beautiful here with one day reaching 80 degrees! The cats were very pleased! We're back to normal temps in the 50s and it's pouring rain right now.
Today we ran errands and had lunch in town where there was a book sale at the local library. I was able to snag several books and a puzzle.
We're headed to Southern California later this week for a short trip to visit our son.

How was your week?
The kitties are so cute. I don't know how I feel about 80s in Feb, though we got over 60. No worries, it's in the 20s right now. LOL. Fake spring was great though.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of it heating up that much. It was only one day, though. We're back to normal temps and it's been raining a bunch. That is cold, Sam! Thankfully, spring is right around the corner!
DeleteCute cats!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Deleteit's nice to see the flowers coming up, but rabbits ate all my crocuses. my daffodils haven't risen yet, but i bet they're on their way.

Yes, sometimes my garden gets eaten by either deer or rabbits, too! I spray with deer mace and that helps. My daffodils have just started.
DeleteI love seeing the cats. I hope to have a cat again, someday.
ReplyDeleteThe daffodil is beautiful. I don't think they grow here.
I love cats! They really enrich my daily life with their love and daily antics! I know bulbs have to have some cold in order to bloom. I think you can put them in the refrigerator to chill them if you don't get cold enough weather. I know it gets pretty cold in the Austin area over the winter so maybe you wouldn't have to?
DeleteUgh. We had a couple of days in the 80s last week and I haaaaaaate it. So glad it's rainy and cold again. lol
ReplyDeleteLook at the two kitties cuddling on the rug!!!! So cuuuute!
And look at that rug! I love it.
And cutie-pie Peanut on the books!
Love the puzzle.
Yes, I'm not a fan of having it so warm so soon. It was only a day, though. We're back to our normal winter temps. Those kitties are so cute and entertaining! I love that rug, too, and it was reasonably priced.
DeleteA busy week and travel too. At least you had some nice weather and some great books to read. I love seeing the daffodils.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
There are so many daffodils blooming all over our valley! It's so pretty! I want to plant a bunch more in our yard.
DeleteI love the cats! 80 degrees in February would be weird. It got close to 60 here for a few days, and that felt really hot.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Me too! It was weird for February. Thankfully, it was only one day and we're back to our winter temps. Lots of rain today.
DeleteMy daughter reported that indeed the weather had been delicious some days! Your cats are so cute.
ReplyDeleteYes, we did have some beautiful weather. Back to winter norms now, though.
DeleteLove the puzzle! My week was busier than normal as well. Enjoy the trip to CA!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope we do!
DeleteA library sale! Fun. I love those Charles Wysocki puzzle prints. Cute cats sunning themselves. Looks like a good week of reading. Enjoy your family visit, Rachel!
ReplyDeleteI love the Charles Wysocki puzzles! They're so much fun to put together! Thanks, Sophia!
DeleteCute cats and a library sale! Your week was awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYour cats are so cute. The daffodil is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love them to pieces! Thanks!
DeleteBeautiful picture of the daffodil! And the cats are adorable! I need to read Alexandra Kiley's first book, so I can read this one too. Hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteWe won't see 80 here for 3 more months at least! Luckily we are going to FL next week and it should be nice.
ReplyDeleteI just finished the audio of Kills Well with Others. So much fun! I hope you enjoy it, too!
Yes, it was a fluke for here this time of year, too! We're in the 50s and 60s for highs now. I hope you enjoy Florida! I'm happy to hear that! I'll be reading it this week and can't wait!
DeleteI like the sound of To Sicily with Love! Thanks for mentioning it!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
It was good! Thank you, Marg! I hope you have a lovely week, too!
DeleteGotta love a library sale! And that photo of Peanut on the books is SO cute. Thanks for sharing. :D
ReplyDeleteSend some of the rain my way--or bring it with you, since you are coming this way. Haha. I hope you have a safe trip and a nice visit with your son. We have clouds, just no rain. I hope it does rain. Cuddly cats! I love the photos. The daffodil is beautiful. I hope you enjoyed Wooing the Witch Queen. I really want to read that one. Your recently received books are also ones I am looking forward to reading! I hope you enjoy them! Have a good week, Rachel!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels to visit your son! I hope you have a wonderful time and the weather's nice. The kitties are adorable! We also have three. That puzzle is amazing. Do you frame them when you're finished? I've been working on one that I really need to finish. I need more time in the day, lol. Puzzles and audiobooks go hand-in-hand. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great puzzle!
ReplyDeleteWow that puzzle is a dynamo. Like it. I need to start a new puzzle this week since the news is so bad. And thank goodness for the kitties. So cute. Enjoy your time in SoCal. Do you drive all that way?
ReplyDeleteIt was fun! Yes, love the kitties! We flew down this time, but a lot of the time we drive. It was nice flying though and my son moved so the drive will be longer. We may fly more when we travel here.
