About the book:

Will wedding bells rock out for Louder Than Love’s most beloved couple in this Love and Steel novella?

Falling in love with rock star Adrian “Digger” Graves was a dream come true for former librarian Kat Lewis. But with a little help from friends and family—including Kat’s adorable daughter, Abbey—Adrian has planned an evening and a proposal beyond her wildest dreams.

The night before, Kat witnessed the triumphant reunion of Adrian’s rock band at Madison Square Garden. Tonight, he will escort her to the elegant, ultra-exclusive Library Lion’s benefit. It seems like a fairytale, but even fairytales have a deeper, darker side. When old habits return to tempt her knight in shining heavy metal armor, will Kat’s happily ever after come crashing back to reality?

My Thoughts:
Louder Than Love (my review) wasn’t the typical rocker romance, it felt rooted in reality, without the over-the-top fantasy quality I find in most others. I liked the fact that Adrian was a mature forty-one years old, grown and past some of the foolishness that comes with youth.  I could easily believe in Kat and Adrian’s HEA, because their relationship felt like a passionate connection between two grounded people. While Louder Than Love ended happily, I wished for just a little more at the end. Now two years later, I get the epilogue I had wanted all along.

Deeper Than Dreams picks up immediately after Louder Than Love.  Adrian and Kat are on a high off Adrian’s performance at Madison Square Garden the night before, but Adrian has the day planned around pampering Kat and capping off the evening in a grand gesture of love.  There were some moments of insecurity felt by Kat once she realizes the magnitude of Adrian’s re-established fame and wonders how it will factor in their future. No worries though, we are talking about the fabulous Adrian here, and Kat and little Abbey are his world!

Jessica Topper’s writing is beautiful and cut right to my heart.  She made it so easy to put myself in the character’s shoes, feel all the longing and passion between Kat and Adrian.  I was thrilled to be in on some of their blissful moments!  Deeper Than Dreams is a must for fans of Kat and Adrian, and if you haven’t yet read their story you are definitely missing out!
