About the book
Rescued by a stranger.Haunted by a secretSometimes, love isn’t easy…

He watched her, but never knew her. Until thanks to a chance encounter, he became her savior…

The attraction between them was undeniable. Yet the past he’d worked so hard to overcome, and the future she’d put so much faith in, threatened to tear them apart.

Only together could they fight the pain and guilt, face the truth—and find the unexpected power of love.

A groundbreaking novel in the New Adult genre, Easy faces one girl's struggle to regain the trust she's lost, find the inner strength to fight back against an attacker, and accept the peace she finds in the arms of a secretive boy.

Arlene's Thoughts
This novel introduces us to Jacqueline who suddenly find herself struggling to move beyond her relationship with her boyfriend Kennedy that’s defined her for the last three years. He was the reason she chose which university to attend rather than heading off to a college that focused on music, which was her passion. After the sudden break-up where Kennedy callously announces that he wants to play the field, Jacqueline finds herself a bit undone and needing to redefine herself.

I'd have to agree with my roomies that Lucas perfect to a fault. I REALLY liked his character -  tatts, lip ring and all. His back-story broke my heart and I really admired him from the beginning. BTW, what’s with all the jobs??? Was there a reason for that? Overall, he was well crafted and added a sense of direction and focus to the storyline, which I appreciated.

Overall, Tammara Webber crafted a rather engrossing story that kept my attention. She’s definitely an author I wouldn’t hesitate to try again.

Brandie's Thoughts
This book absolutely blew me away. I've been so incredibly fortunate to have discovered some really amazing new authors this year. Never having read a book by Ms. Webber - I saw all of the high praise this new book of hers was getting and my interest was piqued. She did not disappoint and I added another favorite to my list.

Lucas was SO swoon-worthy. I absolutely loved the tattoo-covered, protective, tough-guy persona. Add to it how intelligent he is and WOW - he was amazing. In the beginning I wasn't a fan of the games both him and Jaqueline were playing - but when I discovered the reason why I was able to get over that and fall in love with them and their story. It picked up immediately and I had a hard time putting it down.

A perfect amount of heart-pounding suspense and romance - I absolutely adored this book!  This is a MUST read!

Crystal's Thoughts
The first thing that popped into my mind after I finished Easy was " I want to read it again!"  I loved, loved, loved this book to pieces and Lucas is now number one on my book lurve crush list!

Easy was definitely not an easy book to read.  Things have happened and continue to happen to both our main characters Jacqueline and Lucas that broke my heart many times over.  With every chapter I kept one eye closed because I was scared what was going to happen on the next page.  I have to say though the author was brilliant in her story telling and I was completely captivated from beginning to end even with all the drama and heartache.  Jacqueline was a very likable character and I hoped with my whole body that she would be strong enough to stop what I knew was coming.  Lucas, oh my Lucas, he stole the book for me.  He is another inked up hawt mess that I just wanted to hug.  I can't think of one thing about this book that I would have changed and that is a very rare thing for me.

This is definitely one story that I will keep within reach and I know I will read it many many times.  I am definitely going to keep my eye on this author!

Rachel's Thoughts
Easy was UNPUTDOWNABLE!!  The story starts off with a bang, grabs your attention and doesn’t let go.  I read it in one day.

I was mesmerized by Jacqueline and Lucas’story!  Jacqueline is smarting from breaking up with her long-time boyfriend, but doesn’t let that get her down too long.  She gets back to living her life, and in the process meets Lucas, a college classmate and hottie extraordinaire!!  Even though Jacqueline’s reluctant to get involved with someone so soon, she can't help but see that Lucas is gorgeous and magnetic.  She’s as drawn to this mysterious guy and his dark past as he is to her.  As if the story wasn’t exciting enough, Jacqueline is being stalked and bullied by her ex’s frat-mate, and this gets beyond scary!!

Easy made my heart pound and race, but also swoon and melt.  Do yourself a favor and stay away from spoilery reviews.  This is best experienced fresh and on your own.

Let me share a steamy snippet:

“With one hand, he crossed and secured my wrists.  He’d taught me every possible way to escape his hold, but there was no way I wanted to get away.  He was in slow-motion mood—one of my favorites, though it meant I’d be driven crazy before we were done.  I chewed my lip in anticipation.”   *fans self*

  5. Oh my, my. I love how you all describe Lucas. I have to say I have noticed the increase in swoon worthy men that are pierced, tatted and damaged. Why is it we women love these men. We all want to make it better for them. Sometimes, a few lucky ones will succeed, but the majority are too f'd up to save. But, if given the chance, we will try.

  24. I normally enjoy historical romance novels but I chose this due to price and the summary sounded promising and did it keep it's promise. Yes its a situation no women wish to see themselves in but when you add a situation, a dark mystery of a savior, and just all the wrong turning right how could you not enjoy this story. I promise you won't regret it, my only regret if you didn't get this book and I don't have my own Lucas.
