As you can tell from our reviews and updates, Waves of Fiction is a New Adult and Adult book review site made up of several avid readers who enjoy a wide gamut of fictional escapes. We created this site to post our 18 and over reading material and keep our followers updated on what we're currently reading or what's recently caught our attention. We'll be featuring recent reads, upcoming releases, and a weekly spotlight known as Waves of Sunday where we'll pick a book each week that's been making waves in the book scene or simply caught our attention. We're excited to share our book news with you, and we hope you have a fun time visiting us.
So, here's the team.
Hi, I'm Rachel, a wife, mother, and now grandma! I love reading, trying to stay active and healthy is a big part of my life.
I've always loved reading from a very young age. Both my father and mother were avid readers so it’s no surprise I love to read. Growing up I was hooked on mysteries (always with a little romance, mind you). Nancy Drew was my first love, and then I graduated to Agatha Christie. Many times I read into the wee hours because I just had to know: who did it?!! I really wish I didn’t require sleep because it really cuts into my reading time!
Currently, I'm a big lover of romance in just about any genre. Contemporary, historical, romantic suspense, mysteries, urban fantasy, and paranormal romance. Joining Goodreads back in 2011 was a revelation! Being able to share my love of books with like-minded people and discover new books has been so much fun, and then I discovered book blogging. I've been blogging since 2012. started out on The Readers Den and now Waves of Fiction is my blogging home. I love the book community!

Well hello! I'm Crystal and okay let's see about me..First I love reading, it is and always will be a huge part of my life. I credit this to my fourth grade teacher. She used to read to us in class while drinking tea with a cinnamon stick in it and well I wanted to be just like her, so I would sit in my room reading out loud, and yes I had my tea with the cinnamon stick in it beside me. I have never been the same since. =P I will read pretty much any genre and my tastes are always changing. Urban Fantasy seems to be my genre of choice at the moment, but ask me next week and it could be thriller. My other interests include listening to music and trying new foods. I am trying to get better at cooking, but I always want to finish that last chapter in whatever I am reading so I end up rushing dinner and well it never turns out good lol. I am working on it though. I have been on Goodreads since 2008, and that is where I met my lovely co-bloggers. That's me in a seashell!
