Sunday Post #300-Late Edition

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week. I'm also linking up to The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance @Readerbuzz.

Happy Sunday!

I'm posting late because I'm in Montana with family and haven't had a lot of time to get online!

We landed in Spokane, Washington and drove through Idaho to get to Montana. One hour plane ride and four hours in the car. Didn't mind it since the drive is gorgeous and we were listening to One Fell Sweep by Ilona Andrews (so good!). We should finish the book on our way back to the Spokane airport.

Yesterday we rode out  to a place on the property called the Lake Barn. My husband and I rode dirt bikes while the rest in our party took a ranger (an off-road) vehicle. It wasn't difficult, as it was just dirt mountain roads but it was fun and so pretty! We had lunch at the Lake Barn. We had a bunch of friend over for dinner last night and have been taking it easy today. Just cleaning up and such.

My daughter got a kitten  and he is entirely too cute! He's in Montana with us:

As you can see I didn't read much between work and getting ready for our trip. I was happy I finished the audio of Cover Your Eyes because they took it off the Audible Plus catalog July 1st. I bought the next two in the series on an Audible sale.

Received:

That Last Carolina Summer by Karen White
The Dead Come to Stay (Ardemore House #2) by Brandy Schillace

Thank you to Harlequin Trade Publishing and Harlequin Audio!

How was your week?

  1. What a wonderful trip! I don't use Audible Plus anywhere near enough. I enjoy Mary Burton. Glad you are enjoying Innkeeper Chronicles. It's a favorite. Thanks for chatting with me earlier.
