Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Artsy Reader where each week they post a new top ten list and ask fellow bookish folk to share their lists on that topic.
This week the theme is: Books on My Fall 2025 to-Read List:
Most on my list here will be releasing over the fall, but three are ones that have already released: The Butcher by Jennifer Hillier released in 2014, System Collapse by Martha Wells released in 2023 and Sweep of the Heart by Ilona Andrews released in 2022, a re-read for a read-along hosted by Anne @Books of My Heart. I'm excited for each and every one of them!
A Merry Little Lie by Sarah Morgan (10/7/25)
Snow Kissed by RaeAnne Thayne (10/7/25)
The Haunting of Payne's Hollow by Kelley Armstrong (10/14/25)
Blind Date with a Werewolf (Alpha & Omega short stories) by Patricia Briggs (10/21/25)
The Butcher by Jennifer Hillier (7/15/14)
Innocence Road by Laura Griffin (11/11/25
Sharp Force (Kay Scarpetta #29) by Patricia Cornwell (10/7/25)
System Collapse (The Murderbot Diaries #7) by Martha Wells (11/13/23)
Sweep of the Heart (Innkeeper Chronicles #5) by Ilona Andrews (12/5/22)
A Judgement of Powers (Inheritance of Magic #3) by Benedict Jacka (11/4/25)
I need to read more of Martha Wells books in the series. And now there is a new one. Eek!

ReplyDeleteMy pleasure!
DeleteI keep meaning to read Martha Wells’ books! Someday I will.
ReplyDeleteHope you love them!
DeletePeople keep recommending Murderbot Diaries to me. I should probably check it out. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun series!
DeleteGreat list! I've only read System Collapse but it made me want to go back and re-read the Murderbot series because I feel like it'd been too long between books and I forgot so much! 🤣 I've also got to continue that series by IA. I hope you enjoy all these books!
ReplyDeleteYou could read one right after the other now. They're so good! Thank you!
DeleteGreat list! I also need to get caught back up on The Murderbot Diaries.
ReplyDeleteHope you do! They're so good!
DeleteI love Murderbot! Really need to get caught up with the series soon.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
It's so good! I'm happy there's another after this one.
DeleteI might add Innocence Road on my list Rachel!
ReplyDeleteHope we both love it, Sophie!
DeleteWell, your fall reading is going to be amazing with all those on your stack. :)
ReplyDeleteWe do have a lot of good books coming! :)
DeleteI'll be reading the Ilona Andrews - of course and the Murderbot, plus the Benedict Jacka, Patricia Briggs and Laura Griffin titles.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart
We read a lot of the same great books, Anne!
DeleteI need to make a fall book list. Is Patricia Cornwell still writing these days? Wow .... I remember her early books.
ReplyDeleteYes, she did a sort of reboot of the Kay Scarpetta series. I hadn't read it for years, but dived back in when she started writing them again. They've been really good!
DeleteI hope you'll enjoy all of these once you get to them!

Thanks! I hope so, too!
DeleteYou already know I'm excited for Jacka's new one. And Snow Kissed looks so cute. I'm putting that one on my Christmas reading list. And Murderbot is one of my favs. Happy reading all of these. :D
ReplyDeleteYes, I didn't realize we were getting a new Jacka until I was searching books for this post. I'm excited! :)
DeleteI just started System Collapse today. To save you from confusion... it actually takes place after Network Effect and book 6, Fugitive Telemetry takes place after book 4. It confused me for a while. LOL
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that! Now I'm confused and need to sort it all in my head! Haha!
DeleteI just got an ARC of the Armstrong book from the publisher. I love her murder mysteries, but I haven't loved her horror. We'll see how I feel about this one. I hope you enjoy all your Fall reads!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Her horror books have been crazy, lol! But I guess that's kind of expected with the genre. I really enjoyed I'll Be Waiting, the one that came out last year.
DeleteA good list😃 I hope that you get to read them all
ReplyDeleteMorgan and Thyane are always cozy reads. Hope these are all great.
ReplyDeleteI have Briggs, Armstrong and Jacka on my fall list. So many awesome titles!
ReplyDeleteA Merry Little Lie looks cute! Hope you enjoy all of these!
ReplyDeleteExcited to see you have The Butcher on your list! I'm really looking forward to reading the new Cornwell too. I feel like the last few Scarpetta novels have been really great!
