I didn't post last week because I was sick. Got the flu (as in Influenza A) and I don't recommend it! I was in bed for two days solid and there wasn't one part of my body that didn't hurt. I finally got anti-virals and started feeling somewhat human on Monday.
Anyhow, besides that we got snow! At first it was snow then rain and then it became full on snow. About a foot altogether. It's still here but it's sunny, cold and melting slowly.
Starla, Smokey and Peanut were a bit stir crazy. They kept going out on the covered front porch but then would quickly come in. The birds were crazy outside! Lots of Juncos, Stellar Jay and Oak Titmouse, and so they made do making bird calls as they looked out the windows.

I'm glad to hear you are better. You always do the lovely and difficult looking puzzles. I am just starting The Girls Before today. Glad to see you are catching up on the Read-along. I've been enjoying them more than I expected.

ReplyDeleteI had the flu once. It was the worst sickness I have every experienced. You poor dear! Ick! I hate snow. It's blowing around out there right now. They are saying like a foot to 2 feet. Where do they think I live!!! This is unacceptable.
