I've "known" Lauren @Shooting Stars Mag for a lot of years now through blogging, first when I started back in 2012 on another blog and now here at Waves, and I've always enjoyed her fun, varied posts! She "shows" me around her city, shares a nifty bookish product or tempts me to add another tantalizing book to my TBR, and she's always around to cheer me on my posts! I knew Lauren had been blogging for a while but had no idea it was TWELVE years! I wanted to join in to celebrate her blogoversary with a giveaway and I thought it would be fun to get to know Lauren a little better with an altered version of "Three Things Tag".
As a side note, I first saw this Three Things Tag on Grace @Rebel Mommy Book Blog, the sweet woman who left a hole in the book blogging world (and my heart!) with her passing. I guess originally came from this blog.
And here we go, Three Things with Lauren:
Three things I’d never give up: Books, Chocolate, and Naps
Three favorite vegetables: Cucumber, Cauliflower, and Tomatoes (even if they are technically a fruit)
Three favorite fruits: Apples, Pineapple, and Cantaloupe (the orange kind)
Three shows I watched faithfully from beginning to end: I'm actually bad at doing this, so I can only think of one and that's Psych, which is my all-time favorite show.
Three places I want to visit inside the US: Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Portland, Oregon.
Three places I want to visit outside the US: Canada, Greece, and France
Three things I always have with me: Almost always - chap stick, something to read (book or kindle), and mints!
Three qualities I like about myself: Kind/Loyal/Imaginative
Three most recent movies watched: Avengers: Endgame, Always Be My Maybe, and I can't think of the third one. So many movies I NEED to see still.
Three books I read and loved in high school: Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare, The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck (technically I read that for the first time in 7th grade, but I did read it in high school too).
Three most often used makeup products: foundation, mascara, eye-shadow (I don't wear makeup everyday though)
Three things that make me laugh: the comedian John Mulaney, the show Psych, and certain friends of mine

Okay, I agree with one of Lauren's Three Things I'd Never Give Up: (books, obviously!) but I'd have to go with coffee and wine instead of chocolate and naps, lol!
