Sunday Post #33

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.

This week has been hot with temps in the 90s. I'm worked my normal schedule, off on Friday and we drove out to visit with my husband's parents who are staying on the beach here in California. We're out here for the weekend and about to pour a glass of wine and sit on the beach.

These were all wins for me, especially Hope and Other Punchlines.  The audio was fantastic. Sorry to say goodbye to Mercy Kilpatrick but I guess A Merciful Promise was the last book in the series.

I lost all hope, but finally I was approved for Sapphire Flames this last week!!! *throws confetti* I'm so thrilled and I want to start it soon.  The Sixth Idea is number 7 in the Monkeewrench series. I just finished 6 a couple of days ago. Love the series!

Watched:

Nothing. I've been too busy to turn the TV on.

How was your week?

    1. I do feel blessed to visit great places. Sometimes, though, the best place is home. Julie Buxbaum writes great YA and even though I don't read YA much anymore I try to fit her releases in. Hope you enjoy Ayesha at Last, Brandie! :)

  17. Ooh I hope you enjoyed your beach time. That's definitely some hot weather - it hasn't really gotten that hot around here yet, but when it does, I will probably be in the pool. LOL
