Sunday Post #204

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week. I'm also linking up to The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance @Readerbuzz.

I had a hectic work week, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Still don't know what's going on with the co-worker, but they've asked for more hours from me next week.

It seems spring has finally arrived here in Northern California and things are really starting to bloom! The temperatures were warm, upper 70s today and sunny. I went on a 5 mile walk and then came home did some gardening and then cleaned the house. I'm bushed! I hope to sleep in tomorrow and then get more planting done.

I had a great reading week with two 5 star reads and one 4 star!

Received/Purchased/Library Lend:

I have an e-ARC of The Wedding at Moonglow Bay and noticed my library had an audio copy ready to download. I'm enjoying it already. I borrowed A Fire in the Night after seeing Lark's review. Summer Reading just sounded too good to pass on.

  1. Ah, spring! But we are still rainy and drizzly and cold. For the rest of the week, at least.

  2. I love spring when everything starts blossoming. The colors that will give way to all the greenery. Beautiful pictures (as always). I am excited that you loved Tanner & Louise. There was something special about that book.

  4. What does 70 degrees feel like? haha its been so long for us. But here in Utah we don't want it that warm yet, because the record amounts of snow would just cause harmful amounts of flooding here. And we aren't prepped for that.

But I do love all the blossoms and your pictures just has me yearning for all the blossoms and springtime. Excited to see that you read that Laura Griffin. Such a fun author to read, I need to read more of her.

    1. Yes, I think they're worried about flooding in California too, but not where I live. Hope you get some nice Spring weather without flooding soon!

  8. Ooh I saw Fire in the Night somewhere else this week too. And deep Tide looks good as well. It's kind of the same here with spring- things are blooming but it hasn't warmed up much yet. We did get a day of 80, but now it's 42 again. :(

    Have a super week :)

    1. They're so pretty. I bought one when I lived in Southern California but it didn't survive the hot summer. I might try and buy one for my yard here. Me too!
