The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.
I didn't do a Sunday Post last week because I was tired. We had gone up to my daughter's on Wednesday after work and came home Sunday and it was a busy time. I hiked two days, we went to my grandson's football practice, went out to dinner and then had friends over for dinner. So, while I had fun it wore me out.
This week I've been home. I worked, went to PT two nights after work, and then took my husband to a medical procedure early on Thursday, had my haircut and then last night we went out to dinner with my sister and her hubby. I plan on getting out for a run today and listening to an audiobook while I clean out my closet. We're gearing up to put our house for sale in a couple of months. Reading has been mostly by audio, but I've been loving my books!

I thought this was a fun book stack challenge #matchyourscarf
How was your week?
You've been hitting the Orphan X books with me. Hellbent is a favorite of mine. I also listened to all the novellas and especially like the one about Joey. I'm finally listening to the new one this week releasing in February.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Yes, I got an audio ARC of the newest one coming so I'm trying to get through all the books to post in time. I need to listen to the novellas. They're so good, right?
DeleteFun comes at a price, but it's worth it. Moving is total chore. Good luck with all the prep. I see some great on the horizon for you. One Night on the Island and The Family You Make were big hits for me. I hope they are for you too.
ReplyDeleteYes, moving is a total chore! I loved The Family You Make! I'll be picking up One Night on the Island soon.

Thanks! You too!
DeleteI'm so glad to hear that you've found some good books to read.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteOh, getting ready to sell! an exciting time, I imagine, but stressful as well probably with all the requisite planning.
ReplyDeleteLove your Bookstagram!
It is stressful, but I want to get out of Southern California. Thanks, Greg! I've been having fun with it. :)
DeleteSelling a house isn't any fun. At least, I didn't think that it was fun. Good luck getting ready to list. I love the Instagram photo. So pretty :) I hope that you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's fun either! Thanks, Carole! You too!
DeleteI should check out the orphan X series. I am looking for a new series on audio to listen to during my commutes. Last year I finished the Eve Dallas series and need something to fill the void.
ReplyDeleteIt's so good, Sam! The audios are fantastic. I totally recommend them!
DeleteIt does sound like a fun weekend, but glad you recovered from it. I'm curious about those Gregg Hurwitzes. Whew, good luck with prepping to move.
ReplyDeleteOrphan X is a total recommend! Yep, moving is hard work!
DeleteI just finished Weather Girl last week, it was super cute. I also enjoyed The Family You Make. I've moved many, many, many times as we were a military family, so I should be a moving expert, but it never get easier, but it always gets done. Best of luck to you!
ReplyDeleteYes, Weather Girl was amazing and I loved The Family You Make, too! I don't envy you with all the moving! I haven't done it in over 20 years, but it's all coming back to me. Ack! Thanks!
DeleteSounds like a lot going on last week, and that doesn't always leave a lot of time for reading. Thank goodness for audio books! I see that you're reading The Family You Make... can't wait to see what you think of it!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's the only way I've been able to keep up with my TBR! The Family You Make was so good!
DeleteI'm glad you are enjoying the Orphan X series Rachel. I am going to be listening to Prodigal Son this week. I dread getting my house ready to sell in a couple of years. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteYay for a fellow fan. The series is sooo good! It's not a fun project, but I'm looking forward to getting out of Southern California! Will try, lol!
DeleteThe Orphan X books are so good! I'm eagerly awaiting the newest one to hit my library hold shelf. Evan Smoak is the best. I hope you have a good week this week. :)
ReplyDeleteYes! I think they came onto my radar because of you, Lark! Thanks! You, too! :)
DeleteOhh Carolyn Brown! She is great
