After a happy accident reveals similar tastes and turn-ons in porn. Cuffs, collars, paddles, and more. Seemingly opposite roommates, Josh and Adam, decide to explore their kinks, wants and needs together. Sharing and opening new worlds and pleasures in each other with domination and submission. From pictures online to using what is around their room to trips to the sex store. I adored the questions, concern, slow steps and progression these two took in their exploration. Actually this story might have been a first for me—one where both characters were learning about their darker desires. Usually there is one in the know leading the trembling newbie into the world of BDSM. But here both Adam and Josh are exploring the new emotions and power of humiliation, pain, and submission. They didn’t dive in with “Sir”-s, clubs, or labels either. They just talked and experimented with their needs by sharing and trusting each other. 

And boy-OH-boy did they spark, spank, and cry out with need and desire! The chemistry caught on the page here made me blush. Fueled by nerves and heat. The tension burned and crackled! That tiny, HOT dorm room was p-p-pulsing with sex! Adam and Josh could go from awkward to hot or sweet to intense in a blink of an eye. They fumbled and worked their way through what turned them on with words, touches, blushes, and grins. Adam slowly discovering his desire and power to go down on his knees for Josh—to please, trust, and give himself so completely to him clicked right into place with Josh’s need to protect, prepare, and keep Adam safe, hot, and horny. Very hot and dirty together! Believe me…Ms. McGregor is not afraid to get sticky with her down and dirty boys!  

”Josh’s hand shifted, sliding around to the back of his neck again, stroking. His other hand was in Adam’s hair. It was only two points of contact but somehow it felt like Josh was touching him everywhere.”  

I adore Lana McGregor's style.  YES, she can turn up the heat, but she possesses a fun, light sarcastic hold on her pages and banter as well. Supplying us with laughs and smiles while slowly building the relationship in the dorm room and out. The dorm room setting, by the way, felt so real to me at times. Adam and Josh did not hook up in a dark, leather filled club—it was their college dorm room. A room filled with empty Cheetos bags, laundry, and porn. It grounded the feel of the scenes in reality. Just two young, inexperienced men trying to find and understand their desires. To maybe find someone to share those fantasies and secrets with. 

My favorite part of this story and my biggest surprise was the sweetness though. This story held such adorableness. A new layer to Josh and Adam’s relationship began outside of their sex games by sharing time together over meals and movies.  The confidence and comfort grew and changed as they got to know each other more and more. Yes, I “aww”-ed.   But can Adam and Josh make it work outside of their dorm room games? Will they dare to ask for more? Want for more. Come knock on the dorm room door to find out! 

A sweet, sexy read!  I’ll be on the lookout for more from Lana McGregor for sure.

Take It Off is round two in L.A. Witt and Aleksandr Voinov’s Market Garden series with rent boys Jared and Tristan and the john with the desire to watch. Ever since the first lust fueled encounter with Rolex, Tristan finds himself needing more of Jared. Wanting all of Jared. But is their “double-teaming johns” performance just an act for money or something more? Tristan is no longer sure. Vulnerability, longing, and jealousy are seeping through Tristan’s tight control. And I have to say—a HOT & bothered, possessive Tristan edged with uncertainty and emotion ratchets up the need, heat, and tension even higher! There is no place else I would rather be than watching these two push, tempt, and tease each other.

This time out, Jared, our hot, young twink with a new confident swagger to his step, is in control of the game and Tristan is the one shivering, squirming, and struggling to hold on to his composure and control in a brutal turn of the tables power game. Sooo…what drives Tristan crazy and pushes him to the edge?  Two words—Lap Dance.

Once again, Voinov and Witt bring us to the brink of losing it! The tension, desire, and need to touch are so thick in that room. I could feel it in the air! Each and every swivel, slooow slide, gasp, bend, and hip grind thrusts us deeper into the intense lust filled game between these three men. My hands were in fists, nails digging into my palms and my heart thumping away to the beat of the music. Very hot, brutal, fun, and sexy! 

I loved spending time in Tristan’s head. His voice was surprisingly sweet.  A touch to the thigh, whispered word, gaze or squeeze here and there left me grinning and glowing.  Little signs filled with emotion and hope.  Hope that these two will find something more away from the game.  It just goes to show, you never know what you’ll find when you start striping away the layers of cocky, smirking confidence. What you’ll hear, see, and feel in Tristan’s voice and actions may just surprise you.  

So needless to say I’ll be right here fanning myself, re-reading, and waiting for more from the Market Garden Gang!

My Thoughts
L.A. Witt, Aleksandr Voinov, two sexy rent boys, and one rich john come together to form one hell of a ride! Quid Pro Quo is a scorching HOT night of teasing, sucking, stroking, and the slap, slap, slap of… *cough*…Lets get this show started.

A slow business night for Jared and Tristan soon turns into a night of fantasy when a high priced john pays to watch Tristan and Jared in action. How far and fast will be determined as the night heats up. Jared has been lusting after Tristan for awhile-- watching from afar, longing to touch. So when the opportunity to spend the night with Tristan arises, he jumps all over it! Hunger, lust, control, intense sexual tension and sizzle fuel the energy on the page. You will see and feel the “dig-your-fingernails in & hold-on-for-dear-life” tension all the way down to your curled toes.

”He fully intended to savour every second and every inch. Every ridge and contour. Every taste of Tristan’s skin, every gasp or whispered curse.”

I usually fall in love or lust with a character (or two) in an Aleksandr Voinov tale, but this time out it was the pace that had my heart skipping and panting. A pace that went from a strobe light speed of licking, kissing, and touching to full stop to teasing, mounting about to pop pressure until we hear that *SLAP* of money on the table. I found myself sitting straight up, full attention, biting my lip, hot, and ready to dive into my purse for a twenty or two!  The sexual heat between these men was the force that drove this story and me. It felt like lightening in a bottle!

This story is a stunning example of impeccable timing that lures the reader in deeper and deeper. I couldn’t stop reading! The action is told from one point of view, which for me added the perfect dose of suspense, anticipation, and spice. We experience the night through the eyes and voice of Jared, so we can only wonder what is going through Tristan’s head. Is this just a business transaction for Tristan or was that a shiver?

You have to dive in to find out. A reading experience like no other. Voinov and Witt together are electrifying! Here’s hoping with see more of this team in the future. Lots more!

My Thoughts

Let’s skip all my hubbub and get right to Cole Hammond—shall we?  The beautiful, hot, sexy, gentle souled man that will star in my highlight reel of sexy daydreams for a loooong time! :)

“But when Cole started to yank his t-shirt over his head, I grabbed hold of his wrists to stop him. Not so fast, marine.  I’ve been fantasizing about that gorgeous bod of yours for the past week and a half.  The least you can do is stand there and let me unwrap it.”

Yes, yes please!  Unwrap this--Blond, broad, blue-eyes, 6’3 drop dead gorgeous ex-Marine with lush lips that smile, seduce, suc…oh-so much more all topped off with a “slow-as-honey” Carolina drawl and a big, sweet, thumping heart that shows with every move, look, and touch. 

After a 12-year service as a Marine, Cole is forced into civilian life to start over in school and love.  A new life without the structure, duty, and career he worked, fought, and strived for his whole life.  But can he start over, change, and leave his old life behind?  My biggest Cole surprise was his sweetness.  Cole’s manners, fierce loyalty, trust, willingness to change, and share his heart were inspiring and heartwarming.  What can I say—the man had me drooling and “awwing” as soon as he walked on the page!

Marc, on the other hand, I had to warm up to.  We had some eye rolling moments here and there, but not enough to derail my love for this story.  He just made way too many references to past boyfriends for my taste—Rob did that too, or you remind me of my ex, or…Ugh!  I understand pain of the heart, but the way he brought it up, constantly comparing Cole to any and all Marines in his life got on my nerves.  Not all men are alike and not all Marines are alike.  Now back to the love….

 The magic of this story was the pure, simple moments of life and love captured between Marc and Cole as they moved around their new relationship with all its highs & lows, bumps, and joys.  They reminded me how special the warm everyday moments in life can be—sharing a meal, dropping by work just to say “Hi”, or even the quiet, soothing sounds of the man you love moving in the next room.  Just the sound of him being there stirs your heart and makes you smile. 

Both of these men are battling their pasts and pains of the mind and heart.  Cole has been suffering in silence with PTSD—not able or willing to seek help yet.  For the record, this is where Marc really shined for me.  Marc urges and supports Cole through it all.  But Marc is also suffering with scars of lost loves that left him guarded and hesitant to trust and love again.  Always in fear of being left behind.  Can Marc and Cole help each other heal and forge a life together?

With honest, straight forward words and actions, Ms. Grant gets right to the heart of the matter with love and warmth.  I adored being a part of Marc and Cole’s life for a bit.  The simplicity of sharing time over a cup of coffee, celebrating accomplishments, and urging more of each other in life and love touched my heart.  Once a Marine captures true, pure, intimate emotion in such a quiet powerful voice.

I look forward to hearing more of Cat Grant’s beautiful voice.

Shall we jump right to the Galen gossip? Holy hotness! Galen, a professional boxer with a beautiful, sculptured body made me drool, blush and daydream. But it was his passion for life that made my heart beat come to thumping life with every curl of his lips, touch, and gaze. What struck me most about Galen was how real he felt, sounded, and moved on the page. His sexy down & dirty mouth, sense of humor, leave-the-toilet-seat-up relaxed, confident, manly manners and ways were just what Lacey needed to explore everything life has to offer in love, fun, and sex. The fighter in Galen pushed, urged, and inspired Lacey and me. Don’t be afraid. Ask for what you want in life. Add all that with the man’s deliciously dirty mouth (Did I mention his dirty talk yet? Hehe…), you get pure sex on a stick! I want one, I want one!

Haha…My jaw dropped with one line. The only other slight hiccup for me was the….

Back to the love though! Passion, life, and love rule this quick sexy story. But I can’t go without giving a big shout out to friendship as well. Cat completely restored my faith in female characters and sidekicks everywhere. Girl, we must hang out! Perhaps in the next book? Every girl needs a Cat in life. :)

Christine Bell’s Down For the Count was a stunner for me! A story and romance filled with banter, passion, fun, and inspiration. Lacey and Galen’s story reminded me to just let go and jump in. Life is so short. Do it. Say it. Wear the bikini. Try something new. Kiss the boy. Jump the man. Go for multiple orgasms! And fight for what you want in life with all your heart! Leave it all out there in life and have no regrets.

A highly recommended read that left me smiling and inspired. Can’t wait for more from Ms. Bell.
