I'm thrilled to be part of K.A. Tucker's Cover Reveal for Becoming Rain because I LOVED Burying Water, the first book in in this series.  The synopsis sounds amazing! Without further ado, behold:

Becoming Rain (Burying Water #2) by K.A. Tucker
Expected Publication Date: March 3rd 2015 by Atria Books

About the Book:

Luke Boone doesn't know exactly what his uncle Rust is involved in but he wants in on it-the cars, the money, the women. And it looks like he's finally getting his wish. When Rust hands him the managerial keys to the garage, they come with a second set-one that opens up the door to tons of cash and opportunity. Though it's not exactly legal, Luke's never been one to worry about that sort of thing. Especially when it puts him behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 and onto the radar of gorgeous socialite named Rain.

Clara Bertelli is at the top of her game-at only twenty-six years old, she's one of the most successful undercover officers in the Washington D.C. major crime unit, and she's just been handed a case that could catapult her career and expose one of the west coast's most notorious car theft rings. But, in order to do it, she'll need to go deep undercover as Rain Martines. Her target? The twenty-four-year old nephew of a key player who appears ready to follow in his uncle's footsteps.

As Clara drifts deeper into the luxurious lifestyle of Rain, and further into the arms of her very attractive and charming target, the lines between right and wrong start to blur, making her wonder if she'll be able to leave it all behind. Or if she'll even want to.

Burying Water (Burying Water #1) by K.A. Tucker:

About the book:

The top-selling, beloved indie author of Ten Tiny Breaths returns with a new romance about a young woman who loses her memory—and the man who knows that the only way to protect her is to stay away.

Left for dead in the fields of rural Oregon, a young woman defies all odds and survives—but she awakens with no idea who she is, or what happened to her. Refusing to answer to “Jane Doe” for another day, the woman renames herself “Water” for the tiny, hidden marking on her body—the only clue to her past. Taken in by old Ginny Fitzgerald, a crotchety but kind lady living on a nearby horse farm, Water slowly begins building a new life. But as she attempts to piece together the fleeting slivers of her memory, more questions emerge: Who is the next-door neighbor, quietly toiling under the hood of his Barracuda? Why won’t Ginny let him step foot on her property? And why does Water feel she recognizes him?

Twenty-four-year-old Jesse Welles doesn’t know how long it will be before Water gets her memory back. For her sake, Jesse hopes the answer is never. He knows that she’ll stay so much safer—and happier—that way. And that’s why, as hard as it is, he needs to keep his distance. Because getting too close could flood her with realities better left buried.

The trouble is, water always seems to find its way to the surface.

Blog Tour Review & Giveaway: Midnight Action by Elle Kennedy

I'm excited to be part of the Blog Tour for Midnight Action by Elle Kennedy today because I loved this story! As part of my tour stop I have my review, and excerpt and giveaway of the Killer Instinct Series!  So be sure to scroll down to the bottom so you don't miss anything and have a chance to win.

Publication Date: November 4th 2014 by Signet

About the book:

She’s got a broken heart...
and a fully loaded arsenal....

Ex–army ranger Jim Morgan leads a team of elite mercenaries, but eighteen years ago in Paris, he was part of a black ops unit whose mission was to hunt down a rogue operative. In order to trap the criminal, Jim seduced Noelle, the man’s daughter—a ruthless act that cost him the love of his life and turned her into a mortal enemy. Now he can’t trust her, but he still desires her. He also needs her help....

Older, wiser, and unwilling to play the fool again, Noelle runs a group of highly skilled assassins. And she’s just been offered the hit of the century: Eliminate Jim Morgan. History gives them no reason to trust each other, but with their lives in jeopardy at the hands of a common enemy, the lines between love and hate are soon blurred. Now Noelle and Jim must face the past if they want to have a future—let alone a future together.

My Thoughts:
Midnight Action was an exciting second chance romance filled with action, danger, and hurt fueled by an old betrayal!

Noelle was betrayed by Jim Morgan eighteen years ago when he seduced her to get to her father as part of his uncover assignment.  Noelle was crushed, but she picked up the pieces of her life and vowed revenge.  She got it and ever since then Noelle and Jim have been at each other’s throats.  Still, every time they meet it’s a battle to keep their hands off to themselves and not just because they’d like to kill each other.

Noelle, who has since formed an elite company of assassins’, receives an offer you’d think she couldn’t refuse: kill Jim Morgan. Instead of carrying it out she bands with him to find the killer, and finally after all these years they’ll have to work together and face the past, a past that is filled with pain on both sides.  Is it possible they could ever have a future after all they’ve put each other through?

Years ago Noelle was crushed when she found out how Jim used her and when the details were revealed my heart ached for her.  But the situation is different from what she was led to believe.  Still, the betrayal stings fresh because Noelle was so in love with Jim.  As the true events are revealed Noelle and Jim’s relationship becomes very complicated.  It’s a passionate tug of war between these two. As if the revealing of past events wasn’t enough excitement for this story we have the mystery behind who wants to kill Jim supplying danger and action at every turn.

Part of the problem over the years between Jim and Noelle was his refusal to accept responsibility for how things played out.  I wanted to shake him for blaming Noelle, at all!  Really, the revenge that Noelle took was his own fault, but thankfully it’s not long before Jim wakes up and realizes what a complete moron he was.  Once that happens it clears the way for healing to take place in between assassination attempts, that is.  And between HOT, angry hookups, and I do mean HOT!! During these encounters, Jim and Noelle can’t help but let some of their true feelings come through and it helps them let go of the past a little bit at a time.

I adore second chance romances. It makes me sad when a couple loves so intensely and then everything goes tragically wrong.  I long for their HEA!  But it was evident to everyone around that Jim and Noelle had a one of a kind bond and it was only a matter of time before they realized it as well.  I haven’t read the previous stories in this series, but it’s not necessary to enjoy Jim and Noelle’s addictive and moving story!

Midnight Action was full of intriguing secondary characters and the set up for future romances were included as side stories.  I found one very sizzling, indeed!

4 Suns

Excerpt:

Their dance might have seemed innocent to the people around them, but each brush of their bodies heightened her arousal. Each time his palm grazed her tailbone, her skin sizzled. Each time his cheek brushed hers, her breathing grew more labored.
Still, no matter what Jim thought, she was a pro, and thus perfectly capable of suppressing her desire.
Of course, that didn’t mean she had to stop testing his ability to remain professional.
With a mischievous smile, she looked into his eyes and said, “By the way, the shower blow job you mentioned before? I orgasmed the second I swallowed that first drop.”
A strangled growl left his mouth.
And suddenly they weren’t dancing anymore. But still moving. Moving very, very fast, in fact, as Jim dragged her toward the staircase on the other side of the ballroom.
Morgan had no idea where he was going or what he was thinking. He ignored the inquisitive eyes boring into his back as he gripped Noelle’s hand and led her up the spiral staircase. He didn’t know where it led, or where they’d end up— all he knew was that if he didn’t get inside this woman right fucking now, he was going to pass out.
“Jim,” she said uneasily. “This isn’t the time to . . .”
She didn’t finish and he didn’t care. His lower body was aching, his cock so stiff he could barely walk. He was a man on a mission, his gaze focused straight ahead like a missile homing in on a target.
At the top of the stairs was a small landing opening into a wide hallway with half a dozen doors, but the red velvet curtain to their left was what caught his eye. Gripping Noelle’s forearm, he pushed open the thick velvet and immediately liked what he saw— a shadowy space the size of an opera box. No, it was an opera box, Morgan noted when he spotted the curved railing at the edge and the row of plush, red-upholstered seats.
He turned to Noelle. “Come here,” he ordered.
She stayed put. “I don’t take orders from cavemen, thank you very much.”
His gaze swept over her. He’d lied before. He was totally digging the dress. And the hairdo. The shoes. The vixen-red lipstick. Christ, he wanted to kiss those fuck-me lips more than he wanted his next breath.
“Come. Here,” he growled.
“Make me.”
Just like that, his control snapped like a bungee cord. Forget breathing— his brain stopped working right along with his lungs, his vision nothing but a thick haze of lust as he grabbed her by the arm and yanked her toward the railing. He spun her around so she was against it, then moved in behind her and ground his aching groin over her ass.
Noelle’s moan cut the air, soft enough that he doubted anyone down below had heard it. And if they did, he didn’t give a fuck. He’d turned into an animal, a desperate, hungry animal with one thought on his mind.
He scrunched up her dress and shoved the material all the way up to her waist. She was still covered in the front, but naked from the lower back down, and when he glimpsed her bare ass, a groan left his lips.
“Oh Jesus.” He stroked her tight buttocks with his palm, then undid the button of his trousers.
Letting out a ragged breath, he reached inside his boxer-briefs and pulled out his granite-hard cock. With Noelle in front of him, he wasn’t worried about anyone catching a glimpse of the little soldier, but there was nothing shielding her. If anyone in the ballroom so much as craned their neck, they’d get a hell of an eyeful: Noelle bent over the railing, fingers curled over the cool steel, cleavage spilling out of her dress.
Cursing softly, he wrapped his arms around her and drew her backward, repositioning them so they were against the wall, several feet back and out of view of any guests.
The second he rubbed the head of his cock along the crease of her ass cheeks, she gasped in pleasure. “Oh God. Please.”
The quiet plea was enough to make him shudder.
Holding her dress up with one hand, he gripped her hip with the other and drove into her from behind.
Fuuuuuck.
It felt so criminally good he literally saw stars. Heat and moisture surrounded his erection, her inner muscles clamping around him like a hot, pulsing glove. The sexual excitement burning in his blood was stronger than any burst of desire he’d ever felt in his life.
But no, that wasn’t true. He’d experienced this same blast of need before. Earlier today, when he’d been balls deep in Noelle. Nineteen years ago, when he’d been buried inside the most beautiful girl in the world.
It was her. It was always her.
The realization spurred his emotions, propelled his hips forward. He slammed into her, struggling for breath, desperately trying to hold on to his crumbling restraint. But there was nothing controlled about this.
With Noelle, it was impossible to hold back.
His chin rested on her shoulder as his hips pistoned hard, his cock furiously thrusting into her tight channel, over and over again. Her unique scent drugged his senses, and the fine hairs at the nape of her neck tickled his cheek and made him shiver.
A moan slipped out when his next thrust hit deep. “Oh God,” she whispered. “More. Faster.”
The tempo went from fast to frantic, as he relinquished all common sense and gave in to raw, primal need. His balls slapped Noelle’s perfect ass with each demanding stroke, and he knew from her little mewls of pleasure that she was getting close.
When she threw her head back and trembled in orgasm, it was like stepping into a room engulfed in flames. His heart stopped and his body burned, and triumph blinded his vision, because it was so rare to watch this woman come apart. So rare to hear her throaty cry of surrender and see the sated slump of her delicate shoulders.
“Coming,” he ground out. “Oh fuck.”
The hot waves of pleasure started deep in his balls and shot out in every direction, turning his limbs to jelly and his mind to mush. His release filled her, dripped down his still-hard shaft, and even as he tried to catch his breath, he reached into his pocket for a black silk handkerchief and hastily cleaned them up before their clothes got ruined.
The climax had been so intense he still saw black spots, still had trouble breathing. With a hoarse groan, he withdrew from her tight sheath and tucked his semierect cock back in his pants. As he zipped up his trousers, the hem of Noelle’s dress slipped from his fingers, the silky material floating to the floor with a soft rustle.
“How about now?” Her voice shook slightly as she turned to face him. “Out of your system?”
“No,” he said thickly. “You?”
She opened her mouth, but was cut off by a sudden buzz of voices from the ballroom. Frowning, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and approached the railing.
Morgan followed her, resting both hands on the steel rail as he gazed below.
He immediately pinpointed the source of commotion. A small crowd had formed near the ice sculpture he’d been admiring earlier, and holding court in the center of the group was a man in a black tuxedo jacket and white dress shirt.
“I think our host is here,” he said.
Noelle nodded. “Looks like it.”
They watched from the box, but the new arrival was blocked from their view, surrounded by several taller men who didn’t seem inclined to move out of the way. Morgan glimpsed a head of dark blond hair, an aristocratic profile, and a flash of straight white teeth, but it wasn’t enough.
Annoyance filtered through him. “Let’s go downstairs. I can’t see shit from here.”
No sooner had the words left his mouth than the crowd parted to reveal the center of attention. Maurice Durand. The man was in his late sixties. Medium height, fair complexion, handsome face . . . that face.
Morgan couldn’t quite place the man, but he knew him. He wasn’t sure how, but— son of a bitch.
At that moment, Durand turned to speak to someone, offering Morgan a perfect view of his eyes.
He froze, unable to fathom what he was seeing.
Those eyes.
The color of dark roast coffee, deep and intense and completely unsuited for that lily-white skin and light hair.
In his lifetime, Morgan had come across only two people with that particular combination of chocolate eyes and pale skin.
All the air seeped out of his lungs as his brain made the connection.
“Ariana,” he breathed.

Release Day Launch: Love, in Spanish by Karina Halle

“She sat beside me on the bus – and she changed my whole life.”

Successful, wealthy and absurdly handsome – Spanish ex-football player Mateo Casalles seemed like he had it all. A high-society wife, an adorable little girl, and flashy apartments in Madrid and Barcelona only sweetened the deal. But there was more to Mateo than met the eye – a life of uncertainty and regret that colored his black and white world.

That was until Vera Miles came into his life like a shooting star. Tattooed, wild and young, Vera seemed like Mateo’s polar opposite at first. But you can’t choose who you fall in love with and the two lost souls did everything they could to be together, all while suffering the grave consequences.

Now with Mateo divorced and living in Madrid with Vera, there is a whole new set of challenges and setbacks facing the couple and rocking the foundation of their star-crossed relationship.

Unfortunately for them, the brighter the star, the faster they burn.

He’s thirty-eight. I’m twenty-three.

He speaks Spanish. I speak English.

He lives in Spain. I live in Canada.

He dresses in thousand-dollar suits. I’m covered in tattoos.

He’s married and has a five-year old daughter.

I’m single and can’t commit to anyone or anything.

Until now. Because when they say you can’t choose who you fall in love with, boy ain’t that the f*#king truth.

***

To a restless dreamer like Vera Miles, it sounded like the experience of a lifetime. Instead of spending her summer interning for her astronomy major, she would fly to Spain where she’d spend a few weeks teaching conversational English to businessmen and women, all while enjoying free room and board at an isolated resort. But while Vera expected to get a tan, meet new people and stuff herself with wine and paella, she never expected to fall in love.

Mateo Casalles is unlike anyone Vera has ever known, let alone anyone she’s usually attracted to. While Vera is a pierced and tatted free spirit with a love for music and freedom, Mateo is a successful businessman from Madrid, all sharp suits and cocky Latino charm. Yet, as the weeks go on, the two grow increasingly close and their relationship changes from purely platonic to something…more.

Something that makes Vera feel alive for the first time.

Something that can never, ever be.

Or so she thinks

Blog Tour & Review: Bigger Than the Sky by Harper Bentley

Title: Bigger Than the Sky (Serenity Point #1)
Author: Harper Bentley
Release Date: Sept 30, 2014
Find on
Goodreads
Five years ago, I left my fiancé, hotter than hot Navy SEAL Kade Kelly, at the altar.
No, I’m not an idiot.
Yes, I had my reasons.
Now I’ve made a new life for myself working at a large firm in Richmond and I’ve left the past behind. Or so I thought.
Upon returning to my hometown of Serenity Point, Virginia, to take care of some business, I find that Kade’s now home for good and he’s none too happy about my being here.
Two months. That’s all I’m staying then I’m out of here. Unless I believe the town’s pink-haired psychic’s prediction. Or embrace the sense of belonging I feel at being back home. Or give in to the emotions stirring inside when Kade's attention is suddenly on me.
He scares the crap out of me.
He thrills me.
He used to tell me our love was bigger than the sky.
I always knew ours was a once-in-a-lifetime love. So how can he be so sure it can happen again?

My Thoughts

Bigger Than the Sky is the first novel in Harper Bentley’s new series Serenity Point. In this story, Amelia returns to her home town after running away five years ago just minutes before her wedding. Since then, she’s made a good life for herself in a different town, but is forced to return to Serenity Point to bring closure to the family business after her grandparents pass away. When she arrives to her hometown, her friends welcome her back with open arms, but that doesn’t ease the pain of facing the one person whose heart she left in pieces.

First off, I have to mention how much I enjoyed Amelia’s voice. She’s entertaining and down to earth throughout the entire novel. She does have quite a few moments of needless drama, but she handles them well every time.

When it came to Kade, I liked that he didn’t hide or hold a deep resentment for what Amelia did to him five years prior. He seemed to have reflected and placed some of the blame on himself, which was applause worthy for this story. There was definite chemistry between Amelia and Kade, and despite her moments of jealousy and lack of trust, they blended well together.

Overall, the story felt a bit contrived at times, but it was a quick read that was enjoyable for the most part. Good story with a cast of likable characters.
3 Suns

“Amelia?”
After my squawk of surprise, I turn and see Brody Kelly walking across the street and I can’t help the huge smile that covers my face.
“Brody!” I holler and run to meet him, jumping up and throwing my arms around his neck for a hug as his encircle my waist and he spins me around.
“Thought that was you,” he says with a grin as he sets me back down.
“In the flesh,” I say with a smile as I look up at him, covering my eyes with my hand to block the sun. Brody was always such a cutie with his messy sandy brown hair, expressive hazel eyes and mischievous grin that always let you know he was up to no good. He’s around six-two, two-hundred pounds of rock solid muscle and I’d think he was hot if not for the fact that he’s like a little brother to me.
He walks over and whistles at my car. “Man, Mill, getting’ pretty fancy on us. Might wanna hide it in the garage tonight so no one steals the rims.” He grins down at me when I come up beside him and smack him in the arm. He looks around for a second and says, “Seriously, where’s Jeeves? Didn’t he drive you?”
“Shut it, Brody,” I reply with a giggle.
“Guess you’re doing pretty well for yourself then, huh?” he asks, a small frown forming on his face.
I purse my lips then respond, “Yes, I’m doing okay, I guess.” He looks at me out of the corner of his eye in a that was so an understatement kind of way since my car cost almost six figures. “Um, what’re you doing here? I mean, it’s like  you just appeared out of the blue,” I say.
He takes me by the shoulders and turns me to face across the street. I look at Pettyman’s Lumberyard, but that’s when I notice it no longer says Pettyman’s on the front but Kelly & Family Lumber and Construction in its place.
“Y-you bought Pettyman’s?”
He nods with another grin then asks, “So how long you in town for?”
“Not sure. I’ve got two months’ vacation time I’m using so I came to finally check out the station,” I explain, turning back to face it, my smile falling away.
“Aw, Mill, I’m sorry. They were good people,” he replies. “I know Harley feels terrible about everything.”
Harley Sedgwick, the local heating and air technician, had inspected the heater in Papaw and Meemaw’s house for years, telling Papaw on his inspection five years ago (the winter after my wedding debacle) that it really needed to be replaced. Papaw had scoffed at him telling him there was at least a good five more years in it. The next year, Papaw had neglected to call Harley to come back out and take a look, and Harley had been so busy that it hadn’t even occurred to him to check on them. The heater had developed a leak since the previous year it’d been checked, and my beloved grandparents tragically died in their sleep from carbon monoxide poisoning on a chilly day in early November.
“I know,” I say. “I hope he knows it’s not his fault. Papaw was a stubborn old fool anyway, as Meemaw would’ve said.” I chuckle sadly.
He curls an arm around my shoulders to comfort me. The Kelly men and their protectiveness, I think which makes me sigh.
“So think you might be back to stay?” he asks looking down at me, eyebrows raised.
I huff out a laugh because that’s a ludicrous idea. “No. I wanted to see if maybe I could get the place up and running again then sell,” I inform him.
He drops his arm then nods with what looks like disappointment, which I think is ridiculous. He knows I’m never coming back.
“So how are you? How’s Piper?” I ask.
“She’s fine,” he says aloofly. Then he gets a shy look on his face. “I passed the fireman test. I’m a real-live firefighter now.”
My eyes now get big and I squeal, “Really? Oh, my God! I’m so happy for you!” I hug him again telling him his news is wonderful when I hear someone clearing his throat behind him. Still holding on to him, I lean to the side and look around his shoulder, and what I see makes me swallow down a gasp.
Dear God.
Brody’s older brother Kade Kelly.
Still hotter than hell Kade Kelly.
Kade Kelly who’s got a hard body that’s sculpted like a magnificent work of art.
Who has a large Celtic cross tattooed on his back with “Fiona” in the middle of it in honor of their baby sister who’d died at birth.
Kade Kelly who sings and plays guitar in a band.
Who took my virginity when I was sixteen and he was eighteen.
Kade Kelly who I left standing at the altar five years ago.

Author Interview & Giveaway: Maya Banks

I’ve enjoyed several of Maya Banks’ novels so I’m truly excited to have her on the blog today to answer some of my most pressing questions! Be sure to scroll down to the bottom and enter in the rafflecopter for a chance to win a Paperback copy of three of Maya's titles: Keep Me Safe, Giving In and Taking It All!

Hi Maya! Thanks for coming onto the blog today!

Q: You have quite a few genres of romance that you write in from romantic suspense to historical romance. What is your favorite genre to write in and which one has required the most research?

I honestly don’t have a favorite. What I love MOST is the ability to write in multiple genres. It keeps me from ever writing two books in the same genre or series back to back so it keeps it fresh and exciting for me!

Q: What kind of *ahem* research did you have to do for your BDSM erotic romance series, the Surrender Trilogy?

Letting Go (Surrender Trilogy, #1)  Giving In (Surrender Trilogy, #2)  Taking It All (Surrender Trilogy, #3)

Honestly most of it is just plain common sense and being able to see both sides of the coin and imagine how people would react in certain circumstances. I don’t like taking too clinical an approach with my  books because then the stories seem sterile and a regurgitation of facts.

Q: If you could switch places with any of the characters from one of your many books, who would it be and why?

Oh goodness no I would never want to be in ANY of my characters’ shoes! I torture them relentlessly lol. I don’t like conflict or drama in MY life so I wouldn’t survive five minutes inside one of my stories haha

Q: Never Seduce a Scot is one of my all-time favorite stories.  I listened to the audio version narrated by Kirsten Porter, which was brilliant by the way!  Do you have any say in the selection of narrator for your stories?

Never Seduce a ScotSometimes I do and sometimes I don’t! It’s entirely dependent on which audio publisher is recording the books. Sometimes I’m sent several samples from various narrators and then asked which one I prefer. While others, the choice is solely up to the publisher. I did, however, choose Kirsten Porter to narrate my Scottish historicals. I thought she had a fabulous voice.

Q: What inspired you to write your latest paranormal romantic suspense series, Slow Burn?

Keep Me Safe (Slow Burn, #1)  In His Keeping (Slow Burn, #2)  Safe at Last (Slow Burn, #3)

Honestly this has been a series that has lived in my head for YEARS, particularly the first and third stories in the series. The stories literally just popped into my head randomly and then I couldn’t stop thinking about them!

Q: There are a lot of creepy elements in KeepMe Safe (Slow Burn #1) such as serial killers and physic abilities. Did you base any of that on real life cases?

Not real life, no. Not the psychic part anyway. I’m addicted to crime shows, though, and I find them fascinating and so it was easy to imagine certain elements of the story.

Q: You are a prolific writer. I’m amazed at the amount of books you’ve written and are working on now!  How long does it usually take you to write a book, and how does your typical writing day play out?

It varies. I’ve written a shorter novel in as little as two weeks. More typically it takes 4-6 weeks for the 100k + stories but I put in a LOT of hours a day and a lot of words so it’s not really as hard as it may appear.

I try to meet a certain word count per day and in doing so it makes finishing the book in a relatively short period of time quite possible.

Q: I see you’ll be touring in Australia soon, which sounds lovely! Do you travel a lot for book events?

My “work” travel has picked up significantly in the last few years. I’ve been to some amazing places and am fortunate to have such wonderful readers who make it possible for me to not only have a career I LOVE but also to travel to some awesome places.

Q: When you’re not writing, how do you like to spend your time?

I love hanging out with my family and taking spur of the moment trips. Like literally deciding a day before hand, hey let’s go here! We also really love to hunt and fish or just have quiet family time at home with everybody.

Q: What kind of books do you read for fun?  Favorite author?  Last book you read?

I honestly can’t tell you what the last book I read was :(  It’s been too long since I got the OPPORTUNITY to read for fun! But most often when I DO get a spare moment I typically indulge in a re-read of old favorites. I call them my comfort reads. They are stories I know won’t disappoint me!

Some of my favorite comfort read authors are Nalini Singh, Kresley Cole, Julie Garwood, Christine Feehan, Sharon Sala, and Elizabeth Lowell just to name a few.

Thanks again, Maya, for taking the time out of your busy schedule to answer my questions!!

For our stop, I wanted to share a few quotes from one of my favorite paranormal series and a fun giveaway for our GFC and Bloglovin' followers.

What comes to mind when you think of Halloween??? Well I'll tell you what I think of! I think… Vampires, Ghouls, Creepy Crawlies and did I mention Vampires???

One of my favorite vampire characters is from Jeaniene Frost's series Night Huntress. Yes, you guessed it BONES!  Well if you haven't met this gorgeous, broody, hunky, snarky character yet you're in for a Halloween treat. Let me share with you some of his famous quotes.
"If I die, I will wait for you, do you understand? No matter how long. I will watch from beyond to make sure you live every year you have to its fullest, and then we’ll have so much to talk about when I see you again…"~Bones

"Ask me if I sparkle and I’ll kill you where you stand.” ~Bones

“Kitten, you need to make a decision. Either we stay here and behave or we leave now and I promise you”—his voice dipped lower and the words fell against my lips—“if we leave, I won’t behave.” ~Bones

“Is that a stake, Bones, or are you just happy with my new dress?” “In this case, it’s a stake. You could always feel around for something more, though. See what comes up.”
