Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Artsy Reader where each week they post a new top ten list and ask fellow bookish folk to share their lists on that topic.
The topic this week: Ten Books with "Dead" in the Title.
It was a little harder than I thought to chose the one word because I wanted them all to be books I read and enjoyed.
Dead Man's Folly (Hercule Poirot #35) by Agatha Christie
Dead Man's List (San Diego #3) by Karen Rose
Disturbing the Dead (A Rip Through Time #3) by Kelley Armstrong
Dead Man's Wake (Mike Bowditch #14) by Paul Doiron
Dead of Winter by Darcy Coates
Silence for the Dead by Simone St. James
Dead Heat (Alpha & Omega #4) by Patricia Briggs
Donners of the Dead by Karina Halle
Deeper Than the Dead (Oak Knoll #1) by Tami Hoag
Deadline by Sandra Brown
Have you read any of these? What word did you choose for your TTT?
Ooo fun post! I really need to read Simone St. James.
ReplyDeleteI love her mysteries with a bit of paranormal!
DeleteDead of Winter sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt was crazy, but fun.
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but you're the first I see using the word dead for this week's prompt.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://laurieisreading.com/2025/04/29/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-the-word-sun-in-the-title/
It took me a while to choose it!
DeleteI enjoyed the first A Rip Through Time book - I need to catch up on the series! My TTT
ReplyDeleteIt is a great series!
DeleteI'm surprised I've only read 3 of these: Armstrong, Briggs and Rose which are all favorites.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart
That is surprising! I think you'd like the Mike Bowditch series by Paul Doiron and the Tami Hoag series.
DeleteAll new to me.
ReplyDeleteSo many books out there!
DeleteI've read four of them and have a fifth on the library list. That Donner book looks good.
ReplyDeleteIt was really good! I'd like to do a re-read as I now live close to where the whole Donner tragedy happened.
DeleteI haven't read any of these Rachel!
ReplyDeleteThat's surprising!
DeleteDead is a good choice for this week's TTT. I loved Silence for the Dead, enjoyed Dead Man's Wake, and can't wait to read Disturbing the Dead. :D
ReplyDeleteIt's a good one! I'm looking forward to the newest installment! :)
DeleteNice list! I love Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series, but I haven't read the Alpha and Omega series. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteOh, you need to read it! The series' are intertwined and if you love Mercy Thompson you'll love Alpha & Omega!
DeleteInteresting topic. The only one I've read is Dead Heat. When I looked on my GR shelf at books with "dead" in the title, most of them are "undead" or "deadly" Haha!
ReplyDeleteIt was harder than I thought to chose a word! Dead Heat was so good!
DeleteIt looks like you found a few amazing books! I had considered using "death" for my word this week, but I wanted to focus on spring and new beginnings, so I used "life" instead.

Good Choice, Rachel. I haven't read that Simone St. James book, so will have to see if my library has it. When I went through my physical books, I remember having that Sandra Brown book. I will have to read it in May as one of my two physical books for the month.
ReplyDeleteI feel like "dead" is a good word for you since you read a lot of mystery/thrillers. I am curious how many I have, though I feel the number is low.
ReplyDeleteFinding a title with Dead in it on my shelves was more difficult than I thought it would be. I have a couple "deadly" titles, but the only one I found that matched perfectly was Erik Larson's Dead Wake.
ReplyDeleteI love Patricia Briggs, Kelley Armstrong, and Karen Rose. I have Dead Man's List on hold at the library.
