Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Artsy Reader where each week they post a new top ten list and ask fellow bookish folk to share their lists on that topic.
This week we're asked to share our Top Ten Cozy/Wintry Reads and here's mine:
So here are a few of my favorite cozy/wintry reads. Some thriller/mystery/suspense, some cozy-sit-by-the-fire kind of reads.
What are your favorite Cozy/Wintry reads?
I haven't read many of these books, but they do look like they'd be fantastic winter reads. My TTT
ReplyDeleteI love a good suspenseful read on a cold winter night! Black Ice looks pretty appropriate!
ReplyDeleteI adored Moonlight Over Manhattan!! RaeAnne Thayne writes such sweet books. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI love that you have mixed genres in here because I never love just one thing either. :D
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how in winter I crave the genres I usually don;t read like romance and Yes! mystery/thrillers! Great list Rachel! I'll check them out!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like a lot of mystery suspense have a wintry setting. Didn't really notice that before, but I guess the genre does lend itself to the wintry setting. :)
DeleteNice list, I have read Rocky Mountain Christmas and the entire Virgin River series.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kimberly. I've read almost all of the Virgin River series, too, and I've loved just about every one of them. :)
DeleteI didn't even think of Robyn Carr, but you're right -- her books are very cozy! I love how her settings are so warm and lovely. I always want to move to whatever little town she's writing about!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Moonlight Over Manhattan is one of my favorites ever. I loved Snow-Kissed and it's because of you that I read it!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so happy you loved it, Brandie. I always get nervous when someone picks up a book because of me. I did read Moonlight Over Manhattan because of you, so I guess we're even!
DeleteNice spread. I enjoyed the Katie Ruggle and Robin Carr, too. I've read other Kristen Ashleys, but not that one. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, too.
ReplyDeleteI have only read Rocky Mountain there, but that is a great pic for this :D
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these but Moonlight over Manhattan sounds good! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these! Some of them sound great for a cold, dark night, though. Haha. Your blog is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of Black Ice and also Ice. I've only read the RaeAnne Thayne, but I liked it a lot. Great list! :)
ReplyDeleteOhh, some unfamiliar titles to me on this one! I'm surprised I've never seen Moonlight Over Manhattan--it sounds like it's right up my alley and that cover art is totally swoon worthy. Thanks or sharing!
ReplyDeleteNice list -- with some titles I would love to get to know more about as they're new to me.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked the cover of The Gamble and that big cabin/lodge.
ReplyDeleteI had determined that I don't really read books with snow. I think it's due to my aversion to winter, but I have been eyeing a few of these. Glad to hear they were all good for you.
ReplyDeleteA friend gave me Chill Factor awhile ago, but I still haven't read it :(
ReplyDeleteI have not read any of these, but yay for loving them :D I am not sure I know of any wintry reads, hahaha :D I don't read many holiday themed books, haha. <3
