Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Artsy Reader where each week they post a new top ten list and ask fellow bookish folk to share their lists on that topic.
Books on my Winter 2023-2024 To-Read List:
(Click on covers for Goodreads link)
The Lily of Ludgate Hill by Mimi Matthews
Lone Wolf by Gregg Hurwitz
Always Remember by Mary Balogh
Home from the Storm by Laurel Blount
Once Persuaded, Twice Shy by Melodie Edwards
Fish Out of Water by Katie Ruggle
The Missing Witness by Allison Brennan
The Boy Who Cried Bear by Kelley Armstrong
Village in the Dark by Iris Yamashita
Chasing the Horizon by Mary Connealy
I think I have a good mix of genres. Historical romance, contemporary romance, Western historical, Amish romance, thriller, and mystery.
Are any of these on your Winter TBR?
I've read a chapter or two of Melodie's Jane Eyre re-telling and I hear it's VERY good. Katie's is one I haven't heard of, but it looks cute. Hope you enjoy all of your winter TBR titles. :)
ReplyDeleteHer Jane Eyre retelling was a 5 star read for me! Hope you love it too! I've enjoyed Katie Ruggle's romantic suspense in the past so I'm eager to see how she does with contemporary romance. Thanks!
DeleteMay you have a successful winter of reading!

ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten Tuesday
Me too!
DeleteSuch an interesting list. I don't know any of these books but after reading up on them, I think I will have to check some of them out myself. Hope you enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I tried to mix things up. :)
DeleteI've read one Gregg Hurwitz book and liked it. Brennan's looks great also. I'm curious about Yamashita's too- gonna go look it up. :)
ReplyDeleteI think you'd enjoy all three, Greg!
DeleteYeah I like the looks of Chasing the Horizon ... any kind of wagon train story is usually good. Go West!
ReplyDeleteYes, I like the old west stories!
DeleteI'm definitely reading the Hurwitz, Armstrong and Brennan.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart
Hope we both love them, Anne!
DeleteI hope they are good.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteEven though the covers turn me off, I really do want to try out Mimi Matthews. Mary Balogh is a great one to place on a winter list. Hope you have a fun season of reading! These all look so delightful!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
I thin you'd love Mimi Matthews! Try The Matrimonial Advertisement. One of my favorites!
DeleteThat is a really good mix! I can't wait to read Lone Wolf, The Boy Who Cried Bear, and Once Persuaded, Twice Shy, too. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lark! I hope we both love them. :)
DeleteI do hope to read the Edwards book. I liked her last book. I think I am going to download the Ruggle book. It sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteI loved her reimagining of Jane Eyre, too! Hope we both love the Ruggle romance.
DeleteWoohoo! I've got seven of those on my own reading stack so we'll be able to compare some notes.
ReplyDeleteSophia Rose
I hope we both love all of them! I'm sure we'll have a lot to discuss. :)
DeleteGreat list, Rachel. I have 5 of these books on my TBR, but none made my list today. I hope to read Home from the Storm in the next week or so. Enjoy all of these books when you get to them.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had several I'm looking forward to on your list that I didn't list here, so I guess we should've made it a Top Twenty Tuesday, lol!
DeleteMimi Matthews' books look so fun! I really need to give them a go already. I'm a big fan of Armstrong's mysteries, so I'm looking forward to THE BOY WHO CRIED BEAR as well. I hope we both love it.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
Yes! I want to get to it soon, but I know I have other books to clear out first. Thanks, you too!
DeleteNone of these were on my TBR, so naturally my list just got longer!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that usually the case? I know it is when I visit other blogs, too!
DeleteLooks like a good list! I've been wondering about trying something by Mary Balogh... Hope you enjoy these!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Mary Balogh is wonderful!
DeleteI always have so much fun making TBRs. None of yours are familiar to me but I hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun making TBR lists! Thanks! I hope so, too. :)
DeleteHope you like them all. I have The Missing Witness and The Boy Who Cried Bear on my list.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for both! Hope we both love them!
DeleteOh so many books to look forward to! I have the Allison Brennan on my Kindle but just need to find time to get to it! Hope you are able to read some of these this winter.
