About the book:
Book 1 in The Manhattanites series.

Milan’s notorious playboy, Prince Tittoni, seems to have everything—Lamborghinis, exotic women, palaces throughout Europe and business success. Ramping up his fabric company to go global with a new apparel brand, he ruthlessly stops supplying fabrics to the American client who inspired the collection. But once they meet, what’s he willing to give to get her in his bed?

Upper East Side designer Lex Easton has already endured her fair share of hard knocks. She’ll be damned if she’ll let an Italian stud muffin knock her down. So what if she named her favorite vibrator after him? With Fashion Week approaching, she’ll do whatever it takes to secure the fabrics she needs to make her clothing line an international success—even sleep with her rival.

Lex’s Louboutins are dug in deep to win this war. All’s fair in love and fashion!

Inside Scoop: Though the hero and heroine remain monogamous, their Prada-wearing friends indulge in a ménage a trois and other fashionable sexual fun and games.

My Thoughts:
If you want a fun, over the top romance with plenty of sass, and fiery HOT scenes that’ll burn your panties right off you, Undressed is the read for you!

Lex Easton is the owner and designer of Easton Essentials, a popular luxury brand clothing line for women.  When the fabrics she needs to form her new line for Fashion Week are not delivered she places a call to the factory, Girasoli Garment Company and finds out the order was canceled due to lack of payment.  Lex offers to rectify, but with the owner, Prince Tittoni on vacation at his private island, they won’t release the shipment.  She gets no where over the phone and these fabrics mean the continuation of her business or the death.  So Lex gets on a plane to beg the Prince Massimo Tittoni.  Her mouth waters just thinking about this gorgeous specimen of a man.  He’s in the society and gossip pages, in all his royal glory, and YES I do mean in ALL his royal glory!

Massimo meets Lex when she arrives at his island to get her fabrics, and he is immediately intrigued.  She’s gorgeous, a Charlize Theron look alike, but with a fierce determination to keep her company going.  Unfortunately for her, Masi has other plans for his fabric.  Seeing how successful Easton Essentials is with sales he has decided to stop selling to them, and produce his own designs to sell. He’s got another thing coming, though, if he thinks Lex will just lie down and take it.

Massimo and Lex had intense chemistry, and this romance was all kinds of fun because their relationship started off so antagonistically.  Lex was a heroine I immediately loved.  She was the daughter of a famous rocker and 80’s Playmate mother.  So she’s no stranger to drama and publicity and wants nothing of it personally.  Her father committed suicide, and left her with nothing but debt, so Easton Essential is something she built up with her own blood, sweat, and tears.  You’ve got to admire a girl that turns her life around so successfully, without trying to cash in on her daddy’s name.

Massimo comes off as a major jerk at first, and I wanted to smack him in the beginning.  Of course, that didn’t last for long.  He charmed and wormed his way into Lex’s heart right along with mine as the story enfolded.  Didn’t hurt that I had David Gandy (Gandy candy, baby!) pictured the whole time I was reading about this Italian stallion!  Masi once smitten by Lex can’t/won’t let go.

Undressed was SERIOUSLY HOT!  I think our signature panty warning applies: WARNING: Panties might ignite upon reading.  Whoa!  I’ll give you a small taste, the tip of the iceberg:

She fell against the sofa, where he shoved her sundress up around her waist. He studied her lacy thong. She loved him looking, more than ever when he ground his hips against her, “Sei bellissima,” he murmured, nuzzling her earlobes. “Do you know how beautiful you are?”
“Tell me again and again,” she joked, getting more at ease with his compliments.  Massimo’s words echoed in her ear.
“I told you the dress looked good on you. I bet it will look even better off you.” He grinned.

Undressed had me laughing in so many parts with it’s over the top humor.  Lex’s inner dialogue is witty, snarky, and outrageous.  That girl has a mouth on her which Masi laments more than few times!  All part of her charm.

Avery Aster knocked me out with this addictive read which left a big smile on my face when I finished.  I started it pretty late thinking I’d only read a few chapters and I ended up reading into the wee hours of the morning!  This made the giggling a little problematic with my husband asleep next to me.  I can’t wait to pick up the next in the serious, Unscrupulous which stars Taddy Brill, one of
Lex’s close friends.
