Rachel and I (Arlene)
had the pleasure of driving down to Temecula, CA to the South Coast Winery for
the Summer Lovin’ Reader Party. As much as we were pining to see Ella Frank and
were somewhat disappointed she could not make the event, it was still packed
with some amazing authors! Check out the list:

What a star-studded
list, right??!! Well as always, I was awe-struck as soon as my turn was up to
meet some of my faves. We were fortunate enough to by-pass the general line and
get in a bit early to the event, so we had easy access to our favorite authors. As
always, Rachel and I swear before each event that we’ll keep our spending to a
minimum, but it goes without fail that as soon as we enter these events, we
want a copy of just about everything!
I was fortunate
enough to get signed books of the Regret Series by A.L. Jackson, Spin by CD
Reiss, Breakable by Tammara Webber, Nowhere But Here by Renee Carlino, and Searching for Beautiful by Nyrae Dawn. Here’s my bundle of goodies:
Rachel walked away with a few goodies of her own, including the Regret Series by A.L. Jackson as well, and three Toni Aleo books (Taking Shots, Breaking Away and Trying to Score) that she can't wait to read. Check it out!
I think our most exciting purchase was Bend, which we picked
up at C.D. Reiss’s table, this book is an anthology of EIGHT mistresses of the erotic, and they each have an orginial novella in the book that apparently was
banned by Amazon. As soon as we heard that, we had to have a copy!
Overall the author signing was exciting and fun, and as
always, we’re happy to share with an exciting giveaway. The
