The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.
I had a busy week at work. Thankfully, I got off work early on Thursday and my husband and I were able to drive up north early without major holiday traffic congestion. I took a picture of my read (with glass of wine) out on the patio with a view. I have to say, though, it's flipping hot here in Northern California! Not as bad as home down south, but still. Give it up Summer! I am so ready to move on!

Love Catherine Bybee's series so excited for the newest (the last book in the series). I can't say no to Maisey Yates, so a yes to Cowboy Christmas Redemption was a no-brainer. I can't tell you how excited I am to start The Wallflower Wager! Love Tessa Dare's historical romances! One Good Deed is a looonngg book, but I just got my library lend audio book version and I hope it's good.

I just downloaded the audio to Outfox so I am excited to start. Its hot here in SW Ohio and I am OVER IT.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Well you have a nice view Rachel! What better place to enjoy a book?
ReplyDeleteFall better be here when I return in 2 weeks! I'm so excited for you to read The Wallflower Wager. I hope you love it!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, Rachel!
I'm so ready for fall and sweaters!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. It looks like it's off to a great start. I will be keeping an eye out for your Bybee review. Sasha was such an interesting character, and I am curious about her HEA.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the view from your patio. I hope you had a good read there on that spot!
ReplyDeleteWe had a nice mild week for the last of August, but I'm pretty sure summer will strike back a few times before the crisp fall weather settles in for good. Relaxing picture view.
ReplyDeleteSeeing that Claudia Connor reminds me that I still need to read that latest.
Have a good Labor Day and rest of the week, Rachel.
Ohh Dare! I am reading one of her wallflower books at the moment
ReplyDeleteGlad you avoided holiday traffic and I hope you enjoy your three-day weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for autumn now... I really hope I've seen the back of the super hot temps until next year!
Summer's just not ready to leave yet, is it? I don't mind too much, though. Where I live, it will be cold soon enough.

I'm kinda ready for fall too. Cooler temps will be nice. Beautiful picture- looks very relaxing there! Have an awesome Labor Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Sandra Brown and I also want to read that O'Connor book. I wish I could just get temps about 5 degrees cooler. It's come down to upper 80s instead of 90s so I can't complain too much. Enjoy your holiday and have a good week.

The Wallflower Wager has such a pretty cover... I have so many Tessa Dare books I need to catch up on. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThat’s a lovely view, I hope you avoid too much traffic on your way home.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week
We've had pretty nice weather here in St. Louis lately. Of course, it could go back to scorching hot any minute. I really liked Outfox and hope you do as well. I hope you enjoy all of your new reads. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteTessa Dare does write some fun romances. Happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm about done with the really hot weather. It hasn't been terrible recently, but I feel like it'll get hot again before Fall really comes!
