Sunday Post #83

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.

It's been a busy week working and getting ready for my trip. Lots of arranging.
I've been up north in Sonoma Wine Country doing some social distanced wine tasting. It's a whole process, but I didn't mind because: wine! And of course the beautiful scenery. Everything was done outdoors. It was it was nice to get away. On my way home tomorrow where the temps are over 100 again. I don't mind because I'll be home and I miss my cats.

Enjoyed the audio book A Change in Tide. My first time reading Freya Barker and it reminded me a little of Kristen Ashley. I'd like to continue with the series. Read The Hero of Hope Springs in one day.

I go back to Heartland when I don't have a lot of time to get into something else. It's comfort watching as we work through the episodes.

  1. Wine tasting sounds nice. And what a beautiful pic! We stopped at a winery on our vacation and it was nice. Hope your upcoming trip is great and that your temps go down some too!

    1. It is hot here too, but wine country was just a bit cooler. Didn't know you watched Heartland! It's wish fulfillment watching for me since I'd love to be a cowgirl on a ranch. I'm addicted!

  5. I canceled all my trips so far, as they required getting on a plane, and I am not ready for that. It's great you had the opportunity to get away. Looks like it was lovely

    1. Yep, you need to do what's right for you. We've been on a plane a few times, and we just make sure we have our masks, and sanitize. They don't squeeze you all in together anymore either. Thanks!

  6. What amazing views you must have had. Sounds fabulous. But it's always good to return home. I don't think we'll be doing any traveling this year. Maybe next year. I'm not familiar with Freya Barker. I'll have to look her up.

    1. Yep, my father said part of what makes a vacation good is that it makes you want to go home at the end.
