The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week. I'm also linking up to The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance @Readerbuzz.
Happy Sunday!
It was a quieter week here and the week has been good, other than being in pain. I think it may be my gallbladder? I'll know more after visiting the doctor tomorrow.
We're finally out of an unusual October heatwave here. Our temps were in the 90s (32C) this last week, but oddly it didn't feel that hot. Maybe because of the shorter days? It cooled down fast. I woke up to 40F (4.4C) degrees here and lit a fire because it was so cold!
We've started on some fall tasks in the garden and I've bought some bulbs I need to plant.

A crisp, sunny morning. You can't tell here, but the leaves have just started to change color.
Starla thought she should be in the photo

How was your week?

I'm glad you had some time at home but sorry you are in pain. I hope the doctor has a good solution. I'm trying to rest up a couple days before the election blur starts.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
My doctor agrees that gallbladder is the most likely issue, but we're doing tests to confirm. I have an ultrasound to do tomorrow am. Hope you get some rest before the busy time!
DeleteTwo people I know have had gallbladder surgery in the last month. I hope you can get to the root of the problem. Best Christmas Ever looks like great fun.
ReplyDeleteWow, I guess I'm sort of the 3rd person! I love Sarah Morgan's seasonal stories! Always fun and with a lot of heart!
DeleteHope you feel better soon! Starla is adorable. I love the puzzles you did. How to take good pics of my puzzles after they are completed eludes me. You did such a nice job. I have similar books on my lists. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope so, too. Starla is a sweetheart! I stand above my puzzle with a chair and point the camera on my phone down. It works nicely!
DeleteI hope you're feeling better soon. Gallbladder pain is no joke! The Best Christmas Ever looks fanatstic. I hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your weather has cooled down somewhat. I had to have my gallbladder removed quite a while ago, so I understand your pain. I always love seeing your pictures of your yard and plants. Beautiful, Rachel.
ReplyDeleteCozy Little Christmas looks fun! But I sure hope you get some answers about your health!
ReplyDeleteIt’s over 90F here today but we are in the middle of Spring so it’s not really a surprise.
ReplyDeleteLove the mahjong puzzle, I used to look forward to playing it with my grandparents when we visited.
Thanks for sharing your week, happy reading!
Starla's a cutie! And sorry you've been experiencing that kind of pain. Fingers crossed they figure it out...and that it's easy to fix! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a mostly good week other than being in pain! I hope the doctor is able to figure it out today and help you get it figured out easily! Love the picture of Starla.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has gallbladder problems too. They won't do surgery on her because of the Lupus unless it looks like it's an emergency. I hope they can fix the pain.
