Waves of Sunday #11

Welcome to our weekly edition of Waves of Sunday where each Sunday we spotlight a book that has been making waves in the book scene or has simply caught our attention causing a riptide on our TBR.

 Today we are spotlighting:
The Opportunist (Love Me With Lies #1) by Tarryn Fisher
Published November 14th 2011

About the book
Olivia Kaspen has just discovered that her ex-boyfriend, Caleb Drake, has lost his memory. With an already lousy reputation for taking advantage of situations, Olivia must decide how far she is willing to go to get Caleb back. Wrestling to keep her true identity and their sordid past under wraps, Olivia’s greatest obstacle is Caleb’s wicked, new girlfriend; Leah Smith. It is a race to the finish as these two vipers engage in a vicious tug of war to possess a man who no longer remembers them. But, soon enough Olivia must face the consequences of her lies, and in the process discover that sometimes love falls short of redemption.

Arlene's Thoughts
This book came highly recommended to me by one of my trusted avid co-readers, so I happened to pick it up last night to take a peak... Yeah, I'm almost done with it and she was right. This book has some serious reactions and high ratings by other readers on my flist, and rightly so!! The Opportunist is on its way to getting 5 Suns from me, so expect a review very soon. Also, if you have a chance, take a look at the reviews to see what others thought. It's like one of those book secrets that people kept quiet about and hid it in their shelves. Well I'll be shouting about it soon. :)

Crystal's Thoughts
Wow this book sounds all kinds of messed up and yep it is SCREAMING my name!!  I can't wait to see Arlene's review of it and I can guarantee that my review will be close behind hers because it just sounds amazing!  I am very curious and can't wait to see all the antics that will I am sure go on throughout this book and my heart already goes out to Caleb!  Poor guy can't remember anything and has two girls fighting over him...wait most guys probably want that lol!  Great find Arlene!!

Rachel's Thoughts
I've had this book recommended to me by several Goodreads friends but I've been a little afraid to pick it up.  One of the reasons is because I'm sure once I did I would be completely invested in this hot mess of a story and I would compulsively obssess over it!  I'm so fascinated just reading the reviews on this and even more so now that I know Arlene has been sucked in!  I think I'm going to wait until all the books are out before I pick this up.  I don't want the urge to fling my Kindle on someone's head after I finish one of these books to overcome me because I can't read the next one ASAP. My husband thanks me for this decision. :)
