Sunday Post #152

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.

I didn't do a Sunday Post last week because I was tired. We had gone up to my daughter's on Wednesday after work and came home Sunday and it was a busy time. I hiked two days, we went to my grandson's football practice, went out to dinner and then had friends over for dinner. So, while I had fun it wore me out.

This week I've been home. I worked, went to PT two nights after work, and then took my husband to a medical procedure early on Thursday, had my haircut and then last night we went out to dinner with my sister and her hubby. I plan on getting out for a run today and listening to an audiobook while I clean out my closet. We're gearing up to put our house for sale in a couple of months. Reading has been mostly by audio, but I've been loving my books!

  1. You've been hitting the Orphan X books with me. Hellbent is a favorite of mine. I also listened to all the novellas and especially like the one about Joey. I'm finally listening to the new one this week releasing in February.

    1. Yes, I got an audio ARC of the newest one coming so I'm trying to get through all the books to post in time. I need to listen to the novellas. They're so good, right?

  2. Fun comes at a price, but it's worth it. Moving is total chore. Good luck with all the prep. I see some great on the horizon for you. One Night on the Island and The Family You Make were big hits for me. I hope they are for you too.

  6. Selling a house isn't any fun. At least, I didn't think that it was fun. Good luck getting ready to list. I love the Instagram photo. So pretty :) I hope that you have a great week!

  7. I should check out the orphan X series. I am looking for a new series on audio to listen to during my commutes. Last year I finished the Eve Dallas series and need something to fill the void.

  9. I just finished Weather Girl last week, it was super cute. I also enjoyed The Family You Make. I've moved many, many, many times as we were a military family, so I should be a moving expert, but it never get easier, but it always gets done. Best of luck to you!

  10. Sounds like a lot going on last week, and that doesn't always leave a lot of time for reading. Thank goodness for audio books! I see that you're reading The Family You Make... can't wait to see what you think of it!
