The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.
We came down to my daughter's Friday to spend the weekend. Did a bookish puzzle on Saturday afternoon, had some homemade pizza, played crazy eights with the kids, and now I'm writing up this post. Tomorrow we'll head home after watching my grandson play basketball in the morning.

It was good! Thanks. It makes me happy to see my kitty enjoying the outdoors. Supervised of course. The puzzle was a lot of fun! Thank you, Greg! You too!
DeleteIt's so nice you get the family time. Are you closer to them now in miles or farther away after your move?
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
We are a lot closer now. We are only 106 miles away compared to 433 before. Only a two hour drive now. So much better!
DeleteThe puzzle is cute. it's nice to be able to spend time with family.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary! It was fun working the puzzle with my daughter. :)
DeleteThat world of Jane Austen puzzle looks like a lot of fun. :D 1,000 pieces is my limit on puzzles...I mostly prefer 500 piece ones myself.
ReplyDelete1000 is my limit, too! We were able to do it in one afternoon with my daughter and I tag teaming it. 500s are fun as well.
DeleteThat Jane Austen puzzle looks awesome. It sounds like a great weekend, Rachel. Enjoy your upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun! Thanks Carla! You too!
DeleteThat sounds like a wonderful weekend! I haven't worked a puzzle for a while. I may need to get one out the next time my daughter is home from college. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great time with your daughter and her family! It sounds like you did. That puzzle looks fun. I haven't done one for a while. I love them, but I don't like leaving them on the table and I usually don't/can't finish them in one day.
