About the book: Despite having been besotted with Dante Garcea since she was a child, wolf shifter Jaime Farrow figures that it’s time to move past the crush. If he wanted her, he wouldn’t have ignored her flirtatious behavior, right? Hiding her intense attraction to him isn’t easy – especially now that they're part of the same pack again – but with bigger issues to worry about and with the submissive wolf act to maintain, Jaime is resolute on moving forward. Now if only the workaholic control-freak would let her…

As the pack Beta, Dante doesn't have the space or time in his life for a relationship. As such, he ignores his intense hunger for the willful – and sometimes crazy – Jaime. Yet when her flirtations abruptly end, Dante finds that he doesn’t like losing her attention. He finds something else too – Jaime's hiding something. Determined to uncover her secret, he sets out to break through her defenses, even though being around her intensifies his cravings for her. What he finds is a problem that Jaime is convinced not even a powerful Beta can solve.

Anytime I want a wickedly sexy, fun, and flirty read, I now know to go to Suzanne Wright! She has and addictive style of writing that sucks me in every time. Wicked Cravings is all about unrequited love, secrets, and finally, trust.

Wicked Cravings is the 2nd book in the Phoenix Pack series focusing on Dante and Jaime. Dante is the pack’s Beta, or right hand man to the Alpha in charge. He’s all about his job, and doesn’t have time for or care about a serious relationship. The only one he’s ever had seriously hurt and he doesn’t want a repeat, so Dante sticks to one night stands or the casual fling here and there. That’s until Jaime, his pack-mate from the one he fled, joins the Phoenix Pack. She used to follow him around as a kid like a love-sick puppy, but after rebuffing her interest since she’s arrived, Jaime got the hint and has moved on. This is what Dante wants, so why does he find her indifference so irritating? (Lol, idiot man!!)

Jaime was in love/crush/want with Dante ever since she can remember, but when he moved out of her pack to follow his best friend and Alpha, she had to put her feelings on the back burner. After joining the Phoenix Pack she can’t ignore her feelings for Dante even though his lack of interest twists a knife in her heart. Jaime has no choice but to make herself move on. A girl has to have some pride after all, and she will not continue to run after and pine for him!

Since the crush wasn’t only physical, it wasn’t going to be possible to make her craving for him simply disappear by force of will. Unfortunately. As Shaya had pointed out, though, Jaime could ensure that she hid it from him. She could fake indifference and lead him to believe she was over the craving, salvaging some self-respect.

My heart ached for Jaime when that lump of an idiot, Dante, shined her on. Dante finally started to take notice of Jaime after she made her decision (typical!). The thought of her with another male drove him nuts! *does happy dance*!!

his wolf was clawing at him, raging at the idea of her and Pretty Boy together. As far as his wolf was concerned, no one else had a right to touch her.

But Jaime is hiding some secrets that could endanger and prospects of their romance and HEA, and Dante is determined to find them out.

Oh, the Phoenix Pack series has taken hold of me!! I love all pack culture with the primal and animal behavior which makes this a thrilling read! Possession, branding, and overprotection are all among the norm when a male wolf makes a claim on a female, even more so when you have control freak like Dante! Pair someone like him up with an independent and strong female like Jaime and just watch the sparks fly!!

Rebelliously, she stiffened and glowered at him, but Dante simply held her tighter and bit her lower lip. “Keep your teeth to yourself!”

“You’d better get used to me biting you, baby, because it’s going to happen a lot.”

The delicious push and pull between these two was exciting to read. But I also loved seeing the how they gradually let each other in, allowing trust build up, and making it possible to give themselves over to each other completely. *sigh*

I can’t write this review without mentioning the humor laced throughout this story and some of the funniest moments were delivered by Dominic, one of the enforcers. He had a well of the cheesiest pick-up lines that had me giggling all over the place:

“Are those space pants you’re wearing?”
“Huh?”
“Because your ass is out of this world.”

Like I said, Wicked Cravings is wicked sexy and fun! A pure guilty pleasure to read and one that will have your blood pumping wildly through your veins! I can’t wait for the next story in this series, which I’m guessing (hoping) will be about Nick and Shaya. Oh, I have a bone to pick with you, Nick!! Consider yourself warned!
