About the book
Carter, Claire and Gavin have formed the perfect little family. Their friends are getting married and everyone is growing up, maturing and ready to face the future. Or are they?

From bachelorette party hell, porn addictions, dinner roll baseball and botched wedding proposals to finding out everyone's extended family is chock full of crazy, Carter and Claire begin to question the strength of the ties that bind them. Unfortunately, these ties have nothing to do with fuzzy handcuffs and everything to do with the mounting differences between them.

Will their friends make a mess of things with their inappropriate comments and need to know everything, or will they convince the couple that happily-ever-after sometimes really can start with beer pong.

My Thoughts
What a fun book! Claire and Carter are officially one of my all time favorite fictional couples! I love the chemistry between these two characters! That, along with their hilarious banter and ongoing comedy of mishaps, just keeps me coming back for more. If you loved Seduction and Snacks and couldn’t stop making a fool of yourself by laughing like a goof, you definitely need to jump into Futures and Frosting for more cringe-worthy antics, funny as hell dialog and steamy moments that makes this book a perfectly balanced gem of entertainment. Loved it!

Futures and Frosting picks up right where Seduction and Snacks left off. Claire and Carter have been together for over three months, and things are going great. Now if only Carter could capture the right moment to propose to Claire without a series of mishaps foiling his plans, he’d soon realize how ready she really is to take their relationship to the next level.

Overall, it was great re-visiting this cast of characters. Every single one of them has a unique personality and form of amusement to offer their audience. However, I have to say the interaction between Gavin and Drew is priceless. I find myself constantly laughing out loud at their twisted relationship and unique brand of clothing.

It was also great to spend some time with Claire and Carter to see how truly perfect they are for each other. Despite Carter’s too-good-to-be-true moments, he makes the perfect fictional boyfriend in my book. Sequels after a happily-ever-after can sometimes be a sticky situation or complete miss for an author, but Sivec truly knows how to mix her sweet, sassy and sexy to remind you she has what it takes to entertain her readers. Enjoyed it much!
