Sunday Post #128

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated reviewer book blog, and is a post to recap my bookish and non-bookish things from the last week.

I flew up to my daughter's in Northern California on Thursday. My husband stayed home to work on our kitchen. It's a big mess, but I'm looking forward to the final result.  We've been having fun with the kids, going to a couple of parks and watching movies. I'll be flying home tomorrow.

Both really good end-of-the-world scenarios. I guess they're coming out with a third Quiet Place and I can't wait!

How was your week?

Will you read the Christmas books early? I'm a seasonal reader for the most part, so I'd have to wait, lol. Hope you enjoy them!

  7. Oh wow, that's a lot of Christmas books! Some pre-holiday reading? Or stocking up for the holidays?

I hope you had fun at your daughters and good luck with the kitchen work! I'm sure the mess will be worth it in the end.

  8. It's great you could get away during the construction mess and yet have a trusted person there. I will be on my own for my project. My daughter may go visit her dad or something. Thanks for continuing on with the Read-along. I'll go check out your review!

  9. I don't blame you for getting away during the kitchen project. I am not eager to start ours. Fun that you could visit with your daughter and grandkids. I got Uncharted, too.

    Have a great week, Rachel.

  11. I love Gerard Butler. I'll have to watch that one.
I wouldn't ant to be around for all the construction either.

  16. Glad you had a good trip! The first thing I noticed when I saw the books were that they all have such pretty covers! Interesting seeing Gerard Butler - I don't think I've seen him in anything since Phantom of the Opera years and years ago!
